Abfahrt aus Wien Westbahnhof am Abend des 30. Juli 2011, mit Kurswagen nach Beograd; der Kurswagen nach Sofia fehlte. Beide planmäßig in diesem Zug nach Beograd, bzw. Bucuresti laufenden Schlafwagen des Typs WL AB30 (ex P) waren durch WL AB33s-Wagen ersetzt.
Departure from Vienna West in the evening of 30. July 2011 with direct coaches to Beograd. The coach to Sofia was missing. Both scheduled sleeping cars of type WL AB30 (ex P) to Beograd, and Bucuresti, resp., were replaced by WL AB33s-cars.

For real? I thought of going with this train to Bukarest this summer. Why is it unsafe? I have no experience 😅

@@vanq99 First of all the train is equipped with the worst at most worn-out sitting cars of CFR. This train is mainly used by eastern european workers who are travelling home for a cheap price. I've got robbed out 2 times on this train between Budapest and Bukarest. If you MUST travel with it, buy at least a couchette ticket because the couchette and sleeping Waggons are closed for the night. Yeah, and do not eat in the board restaurant, they thought I am from Germany and charged twice as much for everything. Choose a day-time train.

@@SimhaCat im seriously sorry about your experiences, this train is just a shell of its former self... the golden years were in the late 2000s when it ran with OBB's sleeping cars alongside with the CFR's cars too, like you see here... nowdays its just a CFR consist made up of some second class cars, a restaurant, a couchette and a sleeping car. as for those passenger cars, they are built according to the UIC-Z standard and were purhcased new or refurbished some 10-20 years ago, but the CFR does a really awful job at maintaining them over the last years (especially said sitting cars, they were the first 200 km/h cars in the country in 1997 but they've especially been very neglected, and since then we only purchased sitting cars with airline-style seating arrangements), plus most restaurant carriages arent exactly "wow" either... i did have an opportunity to go on the latest sleeping cars that they have and they werent bad, but this was in January 2013 on a domestic route... and the worst part is that im afraid theres no going back to those times.
