@@Yozora765 I don't think Ei didn't care. I don't think she saw herself as his 'mother' and frankly might have been suprised to find he felt that way about her. If Ei really didn't care she wouldn't have created a peaceful domain for him to reside in and would have destroyed him after deciding he wasn't suitable as a host for her divine powers. Just to be clear, with how much he struggled with emotional hardship, he really isn't suited for the burden of divinity. The great irony is he seemed to think being divine would put him above such things and literally every god we have met is weighed down with sadness from loss or sacrifice.

Yeah, as much as I think the Mom Nahida thing is cute, I don't take it too seriously, as the more I think about the concept the weirder it gets for me haha.... I always took their relationship as a kind and caring boss and her helper (or sister, at maximum ha). She wants him to learn and connect with others just as she is, the difference is that she's at least trying and he's reluctant to even try. She knows the pain that immortals like them go through and she still believes in the good of the world and wants him to see the same, even if just a little bit. They have all the time in the world at the moment so he needs to try at least. (It's also very wholesome that she doesn't want him to be lonely again) (As much as I don't think forcing someone into "university or a class" is the right thing, as they say 'forcing one to do something will only make them hate it', he needs to do SOMETHING at least, no matter if he thinks its pointless. And it seems he doesn't hate the entirety of it, as he likes breaking peoples arguments, so there's is some fun to be had haha)

Nahida & Traveller-Paimon are the closest people left for him cuz they are the only ones that know his past, even his real mum, the harbingers have their memory completely erased. Also if you like the work relationship, then you call him "the sage of buer".

@@nk30020 His mommy's is still quite questionable tbh...cause he erased memories from his identity as Kabukimono, Kunikuzushi and Scaramouche, not from the time he was made, so she might remember making him and just has nothing to mention regarding it as she has no name to call him anyway, because he was the one who gave himself names and made someone tell Raiden his name. She and Miko are the only one's who have met him at his origin, which is an untouched memory. Again, we'll only know if Mr. Hoyo decides to be nice to us and shows it 😐

He deletes himself, but the things he did in the past remains the same, it still physically happened. In other words, the irminsul can changes history perspectives, not changes the past. Descenders like the traveller are the one who remembers

Personally, I think of them as… you know those people that just look each other in the eyes for a couple of seconds and they already have the plan and teamwork? Pretty much sure if Nahida need to make up a lie to gain smth, Wanderer just automatically will go “neat” and “i proofread it, she tells the truth, now tell us what she wants lol” Kinda like that, i suppose. They don’t necessarily have to call each other family of any sort (im sorry i cant call nahida who’s no older than him her mum or aunt sorry she’s a literal child), siblings etc etc - they already work well together and quite close. Maybe I think so because of their pasts, which are sort of mirrors to each other: both abandon, forgotten, used, hurt, just one turned to anger, the other turned to apathy? I think they definitely bonded off-screen and Nahida genially cares for Wanderer, while the latter may not want to acknowledge the same.
