I really want to see a Radagast deck from legend. Just a good ol’ big green creature deck. It has some fun comebacks when you start overwhelming the late game with big green stompy creatures. The aggro from Nahiri is nasty and always great to see though.
Satoru is so busted they really didn't need to buff him. I made a deck around him thinking cheating powerful cards into play would be really fun but it turns out to be boring as hell and most people I face just concede immediately
It basically turns the entire meta into historic. Not historic brawl. Just historic. With a 50/50 split on enablers / payoffs, you're basically guaranteed to have a whatever/whatever in play on turn 4 hence the historic parallel. Unless you're packing removal turn 3, which is not very common in historic brawl. And it's a 3/4 anyway...so it's not easy to remove. Having the extra turn against the combo really helped because you could at least get your combo assembled. It's almost impossible to beat a turn 4 jin gitaxis
34:58 If you play the Lizard Blades, equip Nahiri with it and with Boots of Speed, that's 16 double strike with 3 more coming from the minions. You have lethal.
Nahiri has become my fav. commander, My deck is more allround though. I use 20 equipment. Just need to have slots for removal, my paper version also uses 20 equipment and pretty much all legendary creatures that have synergy with equipment and because they are all legendary I slotted in the white tree. Really fun deck to play 😊 didn't want to go the all living weapons route
I made my own version of this deck in paper, although I don't have Nahiri and instead have chosen to use Jor Kadeen, First Goldwarden as the commander. It sorts felt like I needed to after I drafted a Boros For Mirrodin equipment deck which got me a 3-0 during All Will Be one... and then I drafted a Boros Enchant/Equip deck during a Kaldheim draft... and then I drafted a Boros Warrior Equipment deck during a Zendikar draft after that (I got 2 Akiris and 2 Maul of the Skyclaves). I basically had it built off those already.
36:20 Why didn't you equip the Basilisk Colar? It's both lifelink and Deathtouch, worst case scenario they have to waste a kill spell on that creature, otherwise they lose a creature from a chump block.
At 47:42 could have been a play to not command zone nahiri and then destroy ossification for 1 mana next turn with crowbar, though this would give fewer attackers and of course if they remove the artifact with their remaining manner is a complete disaster!
Archetypes work really well because if you can print stuff that isn't just bustedly strong on its own. There are a ton of interesting and unique cards out there that nobody gives a shit aboot because they're individually quite weak.
Thought about it, but it's not actually all that great in the deck. At best making another Rebel or two each turn isn't that amazing. Much better with creatures that have proper etb effects.
Lo malo de este formato es la incorporación de cartas de alquimia, y el poco universo de cartas que hay para mejorar este mazo, stoneforge, las otras espadas, y los equipos de kaldra y varios que no están ni los tutores blancos de los buenos.
I understand your aversion to Alchemy cards, but I feel like this is good example of where it could be used for good: Boosting an underpowered theme like equipment, ninjas, party, etc
Jhoira guy with 49.9% win rate: "I don't think I can make it sir, its getting hard to breathe" Shuffler: "You're not dying today, soldier, not on my watch"
the equipement (can't remember the name) for 1 red that gives +1/+0, menace and "whenever equipped deals combat damage to a player, create a treasure token" would be nice here
In the Syr Faren game, you mention you could've done slightly more damage putting the rapier onto the Lizard blades would've been slightly better, it would've been lethal. Or, you could've put the blades on Nahiri. lol
I think it would only be lethal with Blades on Nahiri, otherwise we're still one damage short. But gotta set up those Nahiri triggers on the following turn, that's why we're here!
In the first game for around of 13:50 mark with Outfitter you said that it doesn't matter what we "upgrade", because right now all out equipment is 1 mana to equip. But if I understand it correctly - Battery here would be a best pick for ability, because yes, in most scenarios is doesn't matter, but it doesn't have equip. It has reconfigure, that, while mostly work the same, but it doesn't interract with cards that care for eguip cost. So adding default equip ability to the Battery actualy could save you the game someday, allowing you to reduce cost to equip (while reconfigure wouldn't be reduced) or equip on instant speed.
Indeed, that's why I chose Battery. It seemed a little too wordy to explain while in the game since it was unlikely to be relevant, but now I wish I did!
@@LegenVD yeah, it actualy could be too wordy for this kind of winter action that actualy not that relevant most of the time, just your videos in general provide so much advices (and value), so when I noticed this little detail my mind itself filled the gap :D So this is in no way a complain, just a liiiiiittle interraction. Amazing video and Brawl content especially is always a good stuff!
