Today I went to Nambucca Heads RSL, they have a great 15 Lunch Special includes a beer! I got the steak sandwich so let's see what its like when I give it a review!

Last time I bought a pint over the bar it was $5, but that was pre Covid, they’re probably $10 now haha. So all that for $15 is great value, probably cheaper than a whopper or quarter pounder meal, and would be better quality.

Good on ya for supporting RSL’s. When I travel up the coast I always stop at RSL’s or surf clubs for lunch. Better than maccas

Whenever I'm near the sea I always go for the flathead if they have it. Can't got wrong, it's a delicious tasting fish.

I spent a bit of time at Nambucca as a kid in the 70's. My rellos lived there. We spent a lot of time swimming in that river. Went to the RSL a few times as my great uncle was the doorman there. It was a real treat to go into a club back then as kids weren't allowed! From memory there was a "wishing well" inside where you could throw a coin. No idea if it's still there. The exterior looks a lot different to what I remember. I think my uncle would definitely approve. Sadly, it's been a long time since I've been up that way. My rellos all departed this world in 2010 (within a few months of each other), so unlikely I'll be going back any time soon. Never say never though! Looked like a good feed!

Man I remember Nambucca heads rsl… used to stay at some motel there on holidays with my folks just a bit further up. Was a lovely spot from memory but haven’t been there since about 2010-2011 . Thanks for the vid Greggo!

Gold Coast Surf Clubs and or RSL lunch reviews! Hmmmm Had lunch at Currumbin RSL today. 6 people, a few drinks and varied meals. $200 I thought it was pretty good!

Grego Buccas Risole is a fave of mine i had the Chicken snitters it was good, get this the place was so busy musta have school hols or a major event i had to go there book and then go back to the motel and the come back 1 hour later, the view from the bistro is well worth it. Glad it hasnt change since 2021
