Hey, as a former teen Drawfee fan (no longer a teen, always a fan) who is working to be in the animation industry, y'alls work over the years absolutely is inspirational to me. There's gonna be a little pinch of Drawfee in every thing I make.

Re: having issues with left and right-- dyscalculia is a legitimate disability along the same lines as dyslexia. It impacts a range of things, like swapping numbers in your head (24 and 42 are most difficult for me to keep straight for example), spacial orientation, inability to do mental math (or difficulty with it), and a lot more. If you'd describe yourself as having "math dyslexia," maybe look into dyscalculia! I struggled for years thinking I was just stupid or an idiot because I struggled hard with "simple stuff" like math and swapping right/left and learning that I had a real learning disability was like a weight off my shoulders. Love to everyone else with the same issues!

Episode idea: Genre swap telephone! One person designs a character in a specific genre, they hand it off to the next person who does a genre swaped drawing of that character, then the next person draws it in another genre without seeing the first one. Sort of like the fursona telephone episode you did a little while ago.

Drawing suggestion: Take less well known constellations and redraw them. This could be used to tell a story, like each constellation is a part of the plot.

You can tell Julia is an artist on a whole different level than a regular one when she decides to keep drawing hands until forcibly restrained by her loved ones.

At 14:10 what Julia talks about here is essentially a Desktop Duckie. In many professions that require problem solving or unique solutions to issues, such as programming or engineering, it is a recurring practice to have a little rubber duckie at your desk. If you run into an issue or complication that is giving you trouble, before you take it to someone else or a higher-up, you should describe the trouble you are having to your Desktop Duckie. The process of explaining the problem you are encountering and what you need to happen is usually enough for someone to put together the solution on their own.

As someone with severe dyslexia, I think a lot of people who are bad with left and right are actually directionally challenged. Knowing my left from my right has never been a struggle, on the other hand knowing the direction the L actually faces is an entirely different issue. Which is maybe why I got so good at knowing my left from my right because if I tried to do the L trick with my hand as a kid I was always like, shit is that facing the right way?

As an Allison looking to pivot careers, I think Murder Mystery-Themed Therapist is exactly the direction I'm going to go.

My toxic trait is that I'm dyslexic lol (It's a processing disorder not a "letters move" disorder as it is commonly misunderstood)

Being left handed, i can say with confidence i have failed the 50/50 Left v Right determination quicktime event 80+% of the time. Only if am i driving can I reliably know, but if someone springs it on me in the wild I will almost never be reflexively correct. Personally i blame catholic school for forcing me to write right handed, im not sure if that holds any water but i feels its really the least i can blame catholic school for.

Murder Mystery/ detective themed therapy would genuinely help me because puzzles and mysteries are some of my special interests and re-contextualizing everything to fit that theme would help so much

Karina is technically correct - Having issues with Left/Right, Time, Numbers and Letters all fall under Dyslexia now. They were separated previously such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Dyspraxia

For me the left hand right hand issue isn't about memory but the fact I have dyslexia and so my brain inverts stuff. So when I'm on auto-pilot my brain is just like "That way is left" and I'm pointing right. To the point I literally refer to it as "Right and my right" with my family.

I can confirm as a person who can't tell left and right that the hand thing is useless advice and yet it's everyones gut instinct to give you that advice when you tell them you can't. Every year my teacher would get mad at me because I would get letters backwards and I'd try to explain that it doesn't look any different to me because I can't tell my left from my right and she tried to make me do the L with my hands thing and asked me Wich letter l looked right and then stared at me expectingly like she couldn't tell what's wrong with what she just said. If you legit struggle with left/right join me in dyspraxia land! If you struggle with short-term memory, balance, fine motor-control and generally making your body do stuff you may have this badly named thing. It can also make directions and sequences real tricky hence problems with knowing left and right. Jacob's hard stance all in good fun though, just wanna signpost people if they feel inadequate!

I couldn't remember which arm was my left and right when I was younger. Then I broke my right arm twice in the span of three years. And now every time I forget, I just remember left is straight arm, right is not so straight arm. Or, as I've decided to call it from now on; Left - normie, right - flamboyant.

I think the problem with left and right is not people "forgetting" it really, but Most of the time you need to be spontanious about directions and also if you stand in front of someone his right is your left etc. So you have to think about it and that makes it "confusing/forgettable" Like getting asked what your birthday is or what day it is under pressure I am a therapist and sometimes i get left and right mixed Up when explaining things to my patients.
