@@PabloEdvardo it isn't agreed upon. It's just a bunch of snobs on MAL screaming about it every opportunity they get. What I actually see a lot of people on the internet saying (of the people that actually watched both) is that they prefer the first half of FMA and the second half of FMAB. But imo both have their problems (especially FMAB's ending)
3:00 Even when slowed down to 0.25x speed, they started naming the song at the same time. SungWon used up most of his memory capacity on the Peter Pan movie so he can't remember anime songs.
Oh snap! I think I'm the one who suggested the Naruto Shippuden ED 15. I'm so ecstatic that it was used, cause it's my favorite ending theme ever! (I also suggested FMA:B ED 2, so I am honored both my suggestions made it)
the pause between when the ending literally says free and they piece together it must be free kills me. meanwhile this ending is engraved in my subconscious and i know it by the first note
Oh yeah, Free! is one of the few anime where the EDs FAR exceed the OPs. I genuinely can't remember any of its openings off the top of my head, but all three endings are seared onto my brain forever.
Every time a new one of these drops a little voice in my head goes: Surely this is it... it’s finally here... the day re-watching Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun at least four time a year finally pays off... It has to happen eventually...
Such a nice funny comedy, a shame the comedies that seem to get more seasons are the worse ones no? Same thing with Ore Monogatari, that was really fun and charming as well. Damn! Now I kinda want to rewatch it (already rewatched nozaki kun a short time ago).
Same, I was so excited to finally get one and they haven't seen the show. That show is textbook Shonen in the best ways and they should really watch it.
5:15 I got Samurai Champloo so fast I was surprised neither got it immediately. I legit just jumped out of my seat and shouted "Samurai Champloo! I got that shit!" I watched too much of it with my little sister and my dad XD
@@TheFirehands150 I listen to it every day at work. So as soon as I heard the beginning I shouted it out. Imagine my face when they both looked clueless lol.
I watched their anime ops one and I was pretty bad at it except for the few songs i actually like (i'm the kind that skip ops and ends haha) But with Samurai Champloo and Yu Yu Hakusho's ending i almost screamed at the screen hahaha
Me before watching this: hey i should rewatch Blue Exorcist, been like 5 years since my first watch Me when it came up: i still remember the theme somehow??
Yes! And they transitioned the end of the episodes into it so well. Seriously one of my favorite endings of all time. Plus, ProZD should watch Yu Yu Hakusho already lol
I had to pause the video and just travel back in time 20 years for a minute before I got the YuYu Hakusho one. Then I felt so vindicated when neither of them got it.
I think a good example for an anime with an ED that stands out more than than the OP is BNA. Ready To is good, but Night Running is just so rhythmic and smooth~ Honestly one of the few anime that I let the ED play at the end of every episode, it's just that good!
I lost my fucking mind when Do as inifinity came up. Ommmggg, I kept singing to it, but couldn't recall the anime. Literally had this on repeat as a teen. I was able to recall someone looking sad (sesshomaru) but couldn't remember who. Ack. Great episode guys.
The Kekkai sensen ending probably has a bigger fanbase than the anime itself because it’s so Good, and so memeable Kinda sad cuz the anime is great too
For another theme we should choose like old school animes op/eds. animes that came out like in the 90s that give us those retro vibes. They both have one week to watch and study up before hand
I really miss this type of content, my 2 favorite Anime Man videos are the anime songs quiz, and the A-Z anime quiz, cause it's just friends hanging out playing games together, and I don't know where I can see that kind of content anymore now that those guys have grown to the point where they're making much bigger projects. Nothing against them for doing so, it's awesome to see how much they've grown, I just miss this type of stuff.
The difference in vibes between openings and endings gives me whiplash sometimes bc it’ll be like OP: action-packed, usually hype music, can be pretty dark ED: you just watched your favorite character get new trauma, have this pastel toned outro
I pretty much only know all 3 Overlord endings (ending 2, Hydra, is my favorite ending ever), Neon Genesis Evangelion ending and the first ed of Naruto.
Surprised they missed on the Inuyasha theme...one of the few animes where the EDs are much more iconic than the OPs. Great fun to watch. Hyped to see more!
It’s amazing that somehow all these competitions are paced to the point it’s always a tense ending and the video length doesn’t give away who’s going to win. It doesn’t always work out that neatly.
i'm laughing at Jay's reaction to the PASWG outro you can see the confused recognition at first, and then the instant he puts a name to the show he starts going red
I recognized the Rurouni Kenshin ending within the first second. I've jammed out to that ending every time I rewatch the series. RK has one amazing ED after another.
I like how the scene Jay remembers is the Winry scene for Let It Out, and not the intense scene where Ed smashes through the door to promise Alphonse he's coming back for him
