i'm sorry but i have to ask what is a vulcanized neck? i know a lot about features of a guitar but i have never heard that term before

@mattsmusiccenter I played one at Andy's in Tallahassee. It was simply unbelievable - the notes just lept out of it. The combination of alder w/ maple cap and vulcanized neck sounds gorgeous, round, full and articulate. It was effortless to play. I've never played a better feeling and sounding guitar, even at 2x-3x the price.

@mattsmusiccenter interesting, I had heard it was better for wood to retain some moisture content. So much so I have been told not to store my vintage banjo with desicant. What is your opinion on this?

whats the finish on the body of it called cause i have a les paul with that type of finish but i don't know what its called. one of my friends said flame top but i think he's wrong can someone help
