Looks like a Fortin, smells like a Fortin, but doesn't sound like a Fortin. Even with Ola playing. Anyone wanna take a stab as to how much $$$ Randall will charge you for an ass rape? I'm guessing cheap parts are the culprit. Mike Fortin can build amps but he's not Jesus, can only work with whatcha got.😢

I don't think Ola would sign an amp that that is made of shit and sounds like shit. He spent a crapload of time with Fortin on prototyping this amp for a reason. I would point recording methods and fucking around too much with sensitive amp controls (which actually also shows the range of these pots) as the culprit rather than parts and overall production quality. But I don't say that it's impossible for Ola's model being the one and only and all of the mass production ones are made of shitty parts because Randall. Still it would be quite unusual. As some like to say "You get what you pay for.", thus I wouldn't expect cheap parts in an high-end amp from this price range. However I'd like to see it for myself :D
