Welcome back to Pathways.
In this interview, I had the chance to speak to Mr. Wee Jia Shing, who was previously on this channel and has recently ascended to the presidency of the NAMSA.
During this brief chat, we talked about how he had risen up the ranks towards the presidency, his experience in NAMSA, and also his vision for NAMSA in the days ahead.
Partly, we met this because I had joined the multimedia committee of the AUAM and I'll be moving forward with a couple of projects with them, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that he had become the president of one of the largest student organizations dedicated to the welfare and support of students in the US.
Looking forward to many more good things in the days ahead!
Incidentally, one of the projects that we're working on together is the Entrepreneurship Pathways event that's going to be held at WORK KL, and that will be paneled by Ms. Stephanie Ping, founder of WORQ and Stanford alumna, Yeoh Chen Chow, co-founder of Fave and Cornell alumnus, and Muhammad Redza, co-founder of Fluyx Digital and alumnus of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
The session will be moderated by Dr. Ong Kian Ming, ex-MP of Bangi and Pro Vice Chancellor of Taylor’s University, and Duke University alumnus.
