Nanase Voice Comparison (CV: Mayu Iizuka) | Under Night In-Birth II [SYS:Celes] 

If there's one thing I actually appreciate about Nanase it's how she does that pose with her holding Zephyr behind her back in-game whenever she jumps, descends, DPs, and does her backdash. Yoshihara and the sprite artists were definitely intent on having her do that very specific pose since the outset, doubly so since she's still doing it in UNI2's character select art. It's probably the most obvious example of a character doing their distinct character select pose semi-frequently. Small detail but I like how she's still wearing the watch she got from her backstory.
You will notice that Nanase's 5C, jC, j8C, and 66C all share the same voice line in UNI1. This threw me for a loop on how to approach comparing it to its proper counterparts but I decided to keep what I could because UNI2 does acknowledge that issue and has Nanase saying a couple more variations of that particular shout. I also didn't include the follow-ups to her 214X because her j214X has those lines separately. It seems this is the case for both Nanase and Byakuya, the two newcomers to the console version of UNIEL. They evidently didn't have that much time to record as many voice lines as the OG 11 with how much was repurposed. Out of most of the cast, I think Nanase's voice acting has noticeably improved if you listen to her supers. Her IW in particular's "atashi no houkou" has WAY more punch to it in UNI2 while "Yoake no Lumiere" also has way more force behind it. That said, I do like the pep in her voice in 1 for her specials like her 236A's "iku yo". I do appreciate her trying to pronounce the gratuitous French in her move names though.
Nanase's role in the story is still minimal and like 90% comedic but you can definitely hear how much more serious she is about fighting in the Final Night. Her 1st performance accurately portrays the "I just got my superpowers 2 weeks ago and have no idea what else is going on" intonation with how relatively friendly and casual she seems to be taking it. I still appreciate her more as a function than as an actual character though.
Mayu Iizuka was only 16 years old when she voiced Nanase in the first UNI so it makes a lot of sense how her voice acting has matured over the past 10 years and, as already mentioned, significantly improved her performance for yelling out Nanase's supers.
