Barton Lee Hazlewood (July 9, 1929 - August 4, 2007) was an American country and pop singer, songwriter, and record producer, most widely known for his work with guitarist Duane Eddy during the late 1950s and singer Nancy Sinatra in the 1960s

Very nicely done for a slow piece. Nancy Sinatra was of course very talented. I know that Lee Hazelwood had some type of association, with Duane Eddy. Because he's no stranger to the music business. Lee & Nancy did a fantastic job with this one. Since I never heard this one before thanks for sharing this with us.

Really nice rendition of this great song ..... completely different from the original which is great ... love the way their voices harmonised ..... very soft, serene version. Another hidden gem dear Brian. Great video too. RIP

OK, I'm curious... how in the world did you get this recording in TRUE stereo? Nancy, herself, only issued this song in mono on her 1998, "Sheet Music" compilation.

Does anyone know when this was recorded? Was during the first '65 - '68 Nancy & Lee period or the second '70 - '72 one?

The first. The first Nancy & Lee album came out in '68. The 2nd (1971) came out when Nancy went to RCA for a brief time. Then 3 not less than 3 years before Lee died
