NFW. She's going to be 70 years old on March 16. As much as I love to listen to her play and sing, her speaking voice is just as enchanting. Thanks for this Don Jack - you rock!
Washington state has produced some of the biggest badasses of all-time like Heart, Jimi Hendrix, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, and Nirvana. Enough said.
Ann and Nancy have been the backbone of my relationship with my mother. My mom and dad went to a bar called The Red Barn in Great Falls Montana in the early 70s and walked into magic man being played by two gorgeous women wailing on the guitar and microphone... a few months later they heard that same song on the radio as at that moment realized they had witnessed Heart performing before anyone ever really knew who they were. I was born in 79 and one core memory of my mother and I is her holding me in her arms and dancing around the living room to Heart and Bad Company on vinyl. To this day, we still dance together, but now it's my vinyl and my living room, and my son joins in... full circle shit. Thank you Ann and Nancy for your soul and your music! My mom (Ann❤) and I are forever grateful for you both. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Nancy your still a Bad Ass 😅 wonderful 😅 your best life time achievements are all your albums & your ability to perform for decades 😅 that's Your Magic 😅 😊 Love ❤️ your Girl Cave
My husband. bought a beautiful home in the woods of Northern CA. right in the middle of wine country ...There's NOWHERE on Earth more peaceful , calming or more visually beautiful. I am always on the lookout for her 'badass' car. Maybe one day I will be fortunate enough to see her tooling thru the windy scenic roads of Sonoma Co.🍇🦅🌲🐿️
Seeing and hearing her play "Crazy" on this acoustic guitar is just not the same sound (a good sound) but that 70's video(you know, where Mark Hamill is playing guitar behind her) where she is kicking ass on that Ovation guitar is far better.
@@matchpoint14 It's a common confusion. The short version is that the band's original manager, Mike Fisher was dating Ann, and was evading military service. So he left for Canada, and the band followed him. During that time they signed with a Canadian label and the band was officially launched from there. But as soon as Mike was able to return safely to the US, they all returned to Seattle.
