Stumbled on this today, and pulled the trigger on the 300. It's literally the light I've been dreaming would exist for years now. Thank you Nanlite, you nailed it!
0:08 + 0:19 - Thanks for these shots because all of the photos online shows the COB more recessed, meaning Nanlite must have decided to change the design. As a result, the COB of the Nanlite sticks out more than the Aputure Light Storms which also means none of their accessories will fit! This was my main question running through my head! Thanks for answering!
The only light I'm missing :/..I want that 300 light.. by the way best thing you guys made was being able to add all lights with wifi controller..I shoot alot of music videos and the control I'm able to get with the lights all sync in has been great! Just got the 150 panel also and such a great light to combine with tubes and forza 60 🙏
Is Nanlite forza 300 useful in daytime exterior? or I have to buy Forza 500 for daytime exterior? can you tell me in detail because it will be easy for me to buy or order from one of these.
Hello Barry, can the projector mount be used on on the 300b? I’m looking to use my 300b to cast a window frame on the wall or maybe use a different GOBO, fake tree, firework, etc. Or is that only applicable to the 60b?
Hi you can use the Bowens projector mount with the Forza 300B light and be able to accomplish what you need. nanliteus.com/nanlite-projection-attachment-for-bowens-mount-with-19-lens/
@@kwasman88 Hi! Thanks for your interest of our products. Could you please write you inquiry via email to info@nanlite.com, and we will check and reply you asap. Thank you!
Hi Alex, you can use all the brands on the market right now that are 14.8V. for your Forza 300. Here are a few that work well in the 300 sled. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1137173-REG/switronix_hypercore150s_hypercore_150wh_14_8v_v_mount.html www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1459701-REG/indipro_tools_rdm150s_micro_series_150wh_14_8v_9400mah_v_mount_li_ion.html www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1564347-REG/jupio_bvm0013_v_mount_battery_for_red.html
Hi Osman, The Forza 500 was the fixture that had complaints about the fan noise. The lights have always had a twin fan system one in the fixture head and one in the power supply on the sled. The power supply fan was causing the noise issue so Nanlite has replaced them with a much quieter fan.
I bought Forza 300 Led Monolight but I don't know how to charge the batteries so can you tell me how to charge it, so it will be easy for me to use Forza 300 outdoor
Hi, the only way to to charge the V-mount batteries is with a Dual V-mount charger. The light will not charge the batteries. nanliteus.com/products/bt-cgv-26v-2
Can you confirm the 500 can ONLY be powered with 26v battery? It seems the Aputure 600 will take lower v batts too. Itd be helpful to know if the forza 500 can do the same even if not optimal for the batteries or the output.
Hello, I got an offer from a seller from China. I live in New York. Would I have problem if I buy from there instead of B&H. I usually buy my stuff from B&H but the offer I got is much less than B&H. There is 30 days return period. Also it’s very surprising to me to see that these lights don’t have fire and candlelight effects. Those are the hard to replicate needed more often than not. Are these lights upgradable with firmware? I really like the power of these lights but I feel like I’ll have to go with Aputure even if I don’t want to. The offer I’ve received for Forza 500 is equal to what 300D Mark II costs. For the power I’d much rather buying Forza 500 but I’m not sure yet.
Hi! Thanks for your questions. 1. Would you mind sharing where and how you received this offer from China? Feel free to email info@nanliteus.com if you do not wish to share publicly. 2. If you do choose to purchase from overseas, we cannot honor warranty claims. More info: nanliteus.com/pages/warranty We only warranty gear purchased from authorized retailers in the US. nanliteus.com/pages/where-to-buy 3. The Forza 300/500 does not accept firmware updates. 4. The Forza series lights do have some effects that could be like firelight, such as TV Mode, if you gel the light with CTO or Amber. It is a single color temperature - daylight.
We'll add this, if you want native firelight effects without gels, then the MixPanels and PavoTubes are other great candidates: nanliteus.com/collections/all?_=pf&pf_t_family=MixPanel nanliteus.com/collections/pavotube
Hi, we haven't heard of doing this before. The issue you will run into is there is only one Bowens Mount. Not sure how you would attach both at the same time.
Hi Juan Carlos, yes the fan on the 500 is quite enough to be used on interviews. Due to this lights extreme brightness you would have to set the light up away from your subjects. The light will run around 2-3 hours without the fan.
There is misinformation at 3:50. You can't run Forza 500 or 300 at 80% with the fixture fan off. Truth is 25% with the fixture fan off. The power unit fans are working all the time, but this is less audible. How long you can run with the fixture fan off depends on many things like the temperature around you, wind /air movement in the room/ and the modifier you have attached to the fixture.
Hi the Forza 200,300, and 500 comes with a clamp that allows you to clamp the control box to the stand. The clamp is shown in the Deeper Look videos to help understand how it works with the box.
Hi Tony, the 300 light dims down to 80% when the fan is turned off per the manual. We are currently checking with the manufacture to confirm that this is correct.
I was about to buy Ninlite forza 60 but I think it is better Forza 300 even if so much more cost then 60. I think it must be better quality. And color accuracy is what is so important and the power too for me.
3:50 - 80% with fan turned off? ours drop to 25 percent of the output with the fan on - 2 full stops down - certainly noticeable. You also said on another comment on the Forza 60 that they drop to 80% - all of ours (3 of them) drop to 50%. Don't get me wrong, I love these lights but either all of my lights (and other reviewers) have defective units when it comes to output with the fan off...or the claimed 80% just isn't right.
Yes, in all reviews I've watched it was stated at up to 50% output with fan off. I haven't actually tested as fan noise hasn't been a concern yet. The rep may want to go back and check the specs.
Hi Jeff, I an currently working with the engineers at Nanlite to understand the discrepancy between the results you have and what they have. I will get back with you as soon as we hear from them.
@@barrygarciananlite3471 Happy New Year Barry. a quick update - I dug out the manuals for the 60 and the 300. For the 60 it says it will be at half power with the fan off, and for the 300 its says it will run at 75 WATTS with the fan off. These match what I have measured in testing. Not sure if manuals have been printed differently for different regions (I'm in New Zealand) but at least both my measurements and manuals are consistent with each other - just not the 80% mentioned in the videos. Hope that helps? cheers
I really don't know why would I buy forza 300 b when I can pay less money for more powerful forza 300 and just use some gels and get the same thing as forza 300 b ? Why would I buy forza 300 b ? you get the remote controller ?
