He loved them all, thanks guys! He had no idea what to do with the pig's snout, he took it into the garden and just moved it from one spot to another. After about an hour he finally bit into it. Once he realised it was edible he devoured it seconds.

Happy birthday Baxter...! Ohhh dude, I've been eyeing this piece of coffee kit for a while. I quit the stuff for a few months and gave my old grinder n stovetop pot to a friend. I've been back on the beautiful brown elixir for a couple of weeks now though and can't imagine living without it again. Thanks, friend! My 3 favourite devices are - 1. The Nanopresso (with the barista kit) 2. The Aeropress and 3. The V60 Pour over. You can get amazing results with them all.

Happy Birthday Baxter! Look at that espresso shot! wow man you are doing very well with the nanopresso. when are you getting an electric burr grinder!? check out the Baratza sette. I still haven't gotten a nanopresso, but really thinking about it. I've mastered the handpresso, but honestly the nanopresso looks better. That shot looks amazing from such a tiny device.

Thanks, nah I had a Kitchen fitter install it, but for some reason he didn't want to tile which was super lucky as the back door broke a few days after he had finished, I guess the back door has been used alot more than usual over the last two years (Bax likes to keep a watch on the garden for invading squirels and cats :P - Good luck on the draw. :)

Thanks for these videos mate, I've been trying to decide between one of these and an Aeropress for a while now and I think I will go with the Nano with the Barista kit based on your videos. Just a couple questions, apologies if you have covered it already and I missed it. How does it go doing shots back to back ? Does it require any cleaning between or get a bit fiddly changing over the pod while it's hot ?

Great question, I do plan on addressing this in the tips tricks and troubleshooting video. For some reason, the Nanopresso sometimes doesn't make the best second cup, if you immediately extract another one. I'm not 100% sure of the reason for this, but I always like to give it a little while before I use it, or I rinse it and pump water through the system. Say you have two baskets prepared and you extract one, then open the portafilter, drop the second one in and extract it, it doesn't flow quite the same. It could just be my unit, but thats what I've found. I'll dig a little deeper over the next few weeks and see if I can understand the reason for it.

Happy Birthday Baxter, but lets get straight in to the point.. Longevity of portable espresso makers.. I read lots of comments, watch some videos and.. Longevity seems to be issue, I want to buy one of these, i thought Staresso, but.. Pump is not strong enough and thers some complains cause of that. With nanopresso, i read some leaking, some plastic flavor and pump.. Electric once same, stop working after a while, pomp doesn't work.. Generally longevity reach 4 months.. Common. Which to choose??? Which is able to work a 1.5 year??

Longevity I'd probably say perhaps the Handpresso if you're happy with a single shot (8g max) I've had my Nanopresso with the double shot barista kit for over a year and it's still going strong. If you use filtered water and flush the nanopresso after use, I don't think there are any problems with it. I'd definitely opt for the nanopresso over the staresso, it's a far better product in my opinion. If I were only using g it for a single shot, it would be a close call between the nanopresso and the handpresso, but I'd probably still favour the nano. Good luck in the draw :)
