I keep having ideas about a roundup video, I do have ALOT of portable devices, even more than those that I've reviewed, they are taking over the kitchen cupboards. Thanks, yes it's pressurised, but it does an ok job at a single shot, I'd definitely take a look at my most recent video of the new Wacaco Picopresso, that thing is legit, 18g (double shot) espresso, no pressurised portafilter and a shot that rivals a coffee shop, there is no other portable espresso machine like it.

Hi Kyo, The Nanopresso with the Barista kit is awesome, I have nothing but good thing to say about it. The Keith Titanium Pour over is an expensive product that probably would only suit hardcore ultralightweight hikers. The reason I say that is that there is far cheaper pour over options out there. If you've never tried a Hario V60 pour over, I'd definitely recommend starting with that. It's waaaaaaaaay cheaper and you can get amazing results from it. If your an espresso drinker or you like milk-based coffee drinks, then definitely get the Nanopresso with the Barista kit. If you like a straight up regular coffee, then give the V60 or the AeroPress a try. Hope that helps.

Hi Richard, I usually always do, I have a homemade alcohol stove and cook kit that I always take out with me, the next outdoor video, I'll definitely make use of it on the next outdoor video :)

The Nanopresso with the Double shot basket is my favourite by far, no other one can take 16g's, most top out at about 7-8g I think I managed to get 10g in the Staresso. These other portable espresso makers are really great for single shots, I'm just so used to having a double that I feel like I've only had half a drink when I'm using them.

I'll definitely look at getting one soon :)

Hi, definitely not extra fine, manual espresso machines dot work well with a very fine grind. Just a word or warning, my Tripesso works really well, but there have been a few comments from viewers who have said that the quality of their unit was not up to scratch. Id recommend checking out the Nanopresso (especially with the double shot basket) it's my favourite portable espresso machine. Anyway, thanks for watching and have a great day

If you only have a single shot espresso, the tripesso is fine, however if you intend to make Americanos or milk based drinks, you'd definitely want to go for the Nanopresso with the double shot basket (the barista kit). I prefer the Nanopresso mostly for the double shot.

I'd say it's the Nanopresso with the double shot Barista kit. But, if you're happy with a single shot espresso, then the Tripresso is a great option. I'm currently using the Pipamoka and it's making some awesome coffees. It really does depend on how you like yours. If it's a milk based drink, then the Nanopresso with the doubles basket, if it's a single shot espresso, then the Tripresso, if you like a long black then the Pipamoka might be a good choice. There are other amazing options that I haven't reviewed like the Aeropress or the V60, I use those too :P

Haven’t tried the tripresso but I use the same system you are right now and enjoy it! Haven’t found a nespresso pod I like yet, but I will! Later!

Have you had it long? Mine are definitely metal and very sharp

GadgetViper I’ve had it about 2 weeks but from Amazon, (£35) so who knows how old the stock was. I contacted Barsetto who quickly replied to say there are two generations of the Nespresso adapter, and I can get the newer metal blades one for free from them (just paying postage and import fees). By the way, I suspect they are really a Hong Kong company, not Italian. Their website is in Chinese.

@@nicmalone I'm amazed that there is a version with plastic blades, I'd definitely get the replacement, with the metals blades, it works really well with Nespresso pods. Hopefully, the postage cost won't be much, and they should mark the box as a free issue replacement, then there shouldn't be any import duty.

GadgetViper True to their word, Barsetto sent me the metal toothed adapter free of charge. Fantastic customer service! You are right, it tears through hard plastic coffee capsules easily. By the way, I took my Tripresso away in the campervan over Easter and it performed very well. The insulated cup is indeed excellent. Hope Baxter is well, my yellow lab Murphy is a big fan.

Hi friend, I think it's to do with the surface area of the puck. A regular puck has a greater diameter than these baskets, so the puck is thinner. I could be wrong, but that's my theory ;) have a great day and thanks for watching.
