Yes, the Handresso Auto also boils the water, but it takes a huge amount of power, its pretty awesome that it manages to do it off a Lithium battery

Nice review. I have watched a few of your portable espresso machine videos. One question I have is there anything on the level of this NowPresso, but a bit smaller, that is battery powered? I do a great deal of cycling and it would be nice to carry something with this idea in my jersey pocket or even in an open bottle cage (on the bike). I can't seem to find anything to fit this idea...perhaps I need to invent it! Again, nice work with your videos and channel. Best of luck to you & Baxter.

Best tutorial that I have seen - on anything ! I am a nanopresso user and was intriqued about the built-in boiler (I saw a product review on a Lithium Ion mini-microwave that would have been great to have with the nanopresso - but sadly the product was never marketed). You included work-arounds using pre-boiled water - which were very helpful ! I will probably (no definitely) get one of these so I can have espresso out while I am testing my new telescope at night ! Great Cream by the way. Also - try mini-thermos flasks available via Amazon - pre-loaded with Hot Water - dump and process the espresso directly into these - I make lattes with a lot of thick shaving-cream-like foam. I will ask Santa for this !

I actually have the upgraded version now called the Nowpresso Gold, it boils in half the time and has a better designed, if I get a moment I'll make a video on it :) Thanks for watching

My whole family has one and my friends too. Weve been to the beach with it, to the park, the gigs, it just goes in the bag and hey presto... coffee. :) They dont suggest it, but, I've been cheeky and used it on flights. It's the BEST!!!!! no more bad coffee in the sky :) Cold water, hot water, whatever... it's so easy and so good!!!!!! I love it!

Great review dude. always love your review. Do you have recommendation for vacuum flask or thermos that can keep hot or cold water for very long time?

I need to research it myself, I just bought a cheap one from my local supermarket, but I was to get one that lasts longer, I think the one I have is rated for about 10 hours, I think the Thermos ones are probably the best, they can last 24 hours but I'm guessing they are a lot heavier - geni.us/IMJZZ

Thanks for your suggestion, that Thermos one look great, their description says it can keep hot & cold for 24 hours, but it seems heavy and bulky. and unfortunately they don't ship to my country. maybe they have other model that more simple and not too bulky

I'm really enjoying your reviews 😊 after watching this, I'm thinking the nanopresso is probably more suitable for my situation. I already have a jetboil which I currently use for making coffee on the road (I drive roadtrains for a living) and the fact that this takes 10 minutes to boil as opposed to 2 minutes in the jetboil, and with the battery only being good for 100 coffees doesn't seem efficient in the long run. I do love the machine, but I think it needs some refinement. You have me sold on the nanopresso, and I will be looking to get the full kit so I can enjoy a double espresso ☕ Thank you for your help with making my decision easier 😁👍

So how do you use the high capacity power pack? Do you somehow plug it into the espresso lithium battery while you are out and it will charge the lithium, over what three hours?

looking forward to next review on the seal pot. not a fans of coffee pot. rather get fresh beans and grind myself. Once you get the manual seal pot, probably you can make a taste comparison between nowpresso and nanopresso :)

Yes, I definitely prefer to grind fresh beans, even though the Nespresso pods are sealed, it's still not the same as a freshly ground bean :)

Once NowPresso Portable Espresso Machine has extracted the first espresso, unscrew the water lid to enter another 50ml of water (we recommend using boiled water), then hold the button down for another 5 seconds for the machine to automatically pour the remainder of the Lungo Espresso :)

I was expecting this kind of a solution already , it looses the easy of use and dealing with pouring boiled water into a small container. There are already many other manual solutions for that.

How does the quality of the espresso compare to say the minipresso worth the disadvantage of charging and weight or is it minimal?

Well, I can only speak for the Nanopresso (the newer version of the Minipresso) If you're comfortable and able to boil water using a different method (I have a very efficient cook kit that uses an Alcohol stove) than I'd probably choose the Nanapresso + my cook kit. There are times when boiling water with fire is not an option - like inside a tent for example. So the Nowpresso certainly offers a new option for me. My Nanopresso is set up with the Barista kit, so I can make double shots with Fresh beans, so it trumps all others (when I have the option to boil water). Hope that helps.

They have a new model called the nowpresso gold it boils in half the time and is a decent upgrade on this model. For those that use pods and are happy with a single shot espresso, it's a cool product, but for me personally, it's not ideal. I like using my own beans freshly ground and I like a double shot. The Nanopresso with the barista kit is ideal for me.

@@GadgetViper I'm using my nano presso to do double by having 2 pods and to do double shot just rinse and repeat method, but now started to think if I should get the barista kit, extended water and the double basket of coffee ground. Sadly pod only able to cover one shot only. I'll take a look the gold one you told me. By the way keep up the good work on your video!! love it!

Hi Regina, there's a product called sealpods that lets you prep your own resuable pod. Im testing it now along with the NEW Nowpresso (it boils twice as fast) there should be a video up I'm the next couple of weeks :) Thanks for watching

@@tuttobicci my camping buddy has been using the Hubba Hubba for a few years now, definitely a great tent. The Nemo is almost identical in size, just a little more head room and a little lighter, it's a cracking tent.

Out of all the portable espresso machines I've tested, this one was the most plastic tasting out of the box. It needed a lot of flushing and cleaning to get rid of it. I think they needed to spend some time during the end of production to make sure the unit was ready for the end user. It did improve over time, but it took longer than the others to get there.

great video but you've annoyed me now. I was quite happy to watch and think its not for me if it took 10 minutes to make a coffee but why did you have to show the trick with the boiling water? Now I have to convince the wife (she who must be obeyed) I NEED to spend $200 on a new toy
