Well, our song Iron Monger talks about DIY, bricolage and also glue. If you're into gluing you should check it out! Thanks for reacting to our video with your non US accent though.
@@TheThamesmen Definitely! Maybe also add Weird Al - Handy to the list while you're at it. Everything shown a Handyman is not supposed to do. 🤣 (your fans will love you for diving into Weird Al from then on ¬‿¬ )
Check out "Norwegian Reggaeton" by Nanowar of Steel as well. I can't remember if that video has inbuilt subtitles but make sure you have those on because I believe they sing in 3 or 4 different languages in that one. Also the comedic references in that music video date back to the early 90s. Just like some of the references (which you didn't catch) in Valhalleluja date back almost 70 years, like the wig that one of them is wearing with the pigtails.
Nice and funny reaction! Welcome to Nanowar of Steel's rabbit hole. They are a metal parody band. Other "classic" songs by them are "Norvegian Reggaeton" and "Uranus" (feat. Michael Starr). Enjoy! :)
thx for doing my request i did ages ago..... glad you loved this Monty Python Metal Band..... a good follow up would be Norwegian Reggeaton or Uranus, my fav. ? lol glad you asked.... go for ... And Then I Noticed That She Was A Gargyole.... shared your reaction to the Nightdreamers Reacticide Discord.... pls stay safe and grts. from a dutch cheesehead, living in Germany....
Hi Alex and George, absolutely HILARIOUS! 🤣😂 Firstly, the musicianship was spectacular and secondly, the satire and video were genius! Very talented, l must say!!! Please, react to more!! 🤗
Actually it's Electric Callboy now! These guys are so much fun. When this album came out they used to have fan meet ups at IKEA stores and hid band merch throughout the store. The guy playing ODIN is Thomas Winkler who was the lead singer of band Gloryhammer. Most recently he guested on a Feuerschwanz cover of Manowar's Warriors of the World Unite, which is quite epic. Gloryhammer songs worth checking out include Gloryhammer, Unicorn Invasion of Dundee, and Hootsforce. For more Nanaowar, And Then I noticed She was a Gargoyle and Norwegian Reggeaton.
Furthermore, Thomas winkler is Swiss and a lawyer. When this was made he went under Angus McFife (the gloryhammer character). When he left gloryhammer, they immediately filed a trademark on the name forcing him to stop using it. It's quite a sordid affair but neither party is spilling the beans to the truth (there's plenty of speculation). The Gloryhammer song 'Angus McFife' is quite good as well as the others already mentioned. Maybe check out some Alestorm as well (there is a common denominator).
Great Reaction. From now on I call Alex The Master of Glue😂. You even Had a small sequence of Trios "Da Da Da", very cool. Nanowar of Steel is Always funny, you should Checkout their Norwegian Reggaeton!
There are some amazing little jokes in the background that can fly past if you're not looking for them. My favorite is the manual he is given, the holy book. Up at the top are some futhark runes. If you replace each with the supposed English letter they represent, it spells out Dreki, which means dragon, and the manual itself is for constructing a dragon longship. The helpful guy at the bottom of the cover tells you what tools you will need: a standard screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, a pencil, a Viking shield, a double-headed battle axe, and a mug of mead.
Be sure to listen to some of their other songs... Barbie MILF Princess of the Twilight, Norwegian REggaeton, And Then I Noticed She Was a Gargoyle are a few of my favorites. Great musicians and hilarious songs.
Systembolaget they song about is where we swedish go to and buy our booze. They namedrop two real good swedish group to. Amon Amart and Hammerfall. You should check them out.
Some of their other really good songs that I'd recommend are Uranus, Ironmonger, Barbie: Milf Princess of the Twilight, Vegan Velociraptor, and And Then I Noticed She Was A Gargoyle
I still have the Haynes manual from the second car I owned, Triumph Spitfire mk3. Luckily I learned to come to grips with it. It still is running around to this day.
George here. Cant post a picture on a reply but I front of me is my Triumph Spitfire Haynes manual! Don’t have the car but still have the book! Haynes manuals were the best
@@TheThamesmen George, find that car! It is small, doesn't cost loads to maintain, and petrol is a hell of lot cheaper where you're at... Friend told me there is an mk3 for sale in Cally or rather, in the area. And yes, still keeping tabs or any mk3 worldwide. Somehow that little car got under my skin. Sold mine little under 5 years ago, bought it in '76 and it served me well. 😉 Addendum Another friend told of an '69 car in, of all places, New Jersey, BRG, wire wheels, somewhat pricey at around 26k. Can't find more about it other than the location. Ah well, loads of them about in various stages of decomposition. 😆
@@TheThamesmen pray tell, what have you stashed away? Mine is a '73 GT Six mk3 from Triumph, straight 6 with a stage 2 with 3 double Webers, slightly sharper camshaft, conversation to the rotoflex-less drive train.
@@Paul_C having moved to the US I had to get a muscle car! Made for west coast weather and cruising. A 69 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible. 350 cubic inch V8 with four barrel carb and flow master exhausts! Yeah hah!
what did you use for the skirting boards? I used No More Nails - seems to be holding ok. I came across Nanowar years ago when was looking for some hard rock creative commons music for a video. Love them to bits
@@TheThamesmen it’s that nasty mix of anti-depressants, anti- anxiety, opioids. All of which are beneficial if used as prescribed. He was on a long tour, and my fear is that he bought something he though was ok in Columbia and it turned out to be fentanyl……like what killed Tom Petty…Prince….
@@TheThamesmen To each their own, I've been watching a lot of reaction videos so it's easy to get antsy for the meat and potatoes as it were. Enjoyed nonetheless
I also had an appliance RU-vid issue. My son somehow got grease in my vacuum cleaner, in the roller brush and behind the roller brush. I youtubed it and somehow the roller was not happy with it's bath because it threw itself all out of wack and I had to buy brand new vacuum. And to make it worse, the temperamental vacuum was purchased a few weeks before. I can't live without a vacuum so I wasn't able to send it to the manufacturer but I'm going to buy a new roller brush, fix it then give it to the homeless shelter next door.
@@TheThamesmen I shall take your wise advice to heart and leave the glue in the tool box. Lol. So I've had a song stuck in my head lately perhaps you know it. The Ol' Grey Mare Ain't What She Used To Be... The old gray mare, She ain't what she used to be Ain't what she used to be, Ain't what she used to be The old gray mare, She ain't what she used to be Many long years ago. Many long years ago, Many long years ago, The old gray mare, She ain't what she used to be Many long years ago. The old gray mare, She kicked on the whiffletree, Kicked on the whiffletree, Kicked on the whiffletree The old gray mare, She kicked on the whiffletree Many long years ago. Many long years ago, Many long years ago, The old gray mare, She kicked on the whiffletree Many long years ago. I feel washed up sometimes. 😊
Chaps - don't you think this was redolent of the magnificent Horrible Histories Vikings song? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8qSkaAwKMD4.html
Hi Alex and George, EPICA just released another live video, I think you will like this one, it's very catchy EPICA - Beyond The Matrix - Live at the Zenith (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
