BTS OFFICIAL Disney has changed Agrabah for this film. They have specified that it is a mix of middle eastern and Asian cultures, rather than specifically Arabian. Naomi is half Indian, so she still fits into Agrabah’s culture. ☺️

You know what’s funny? She’s exactly the same in personal. I had the greatest privilege to meet her before one of her gigs in London and this was really a dream coming trough. When she saw me she was so surprised by the fact that I came from Bulgaria. She even took me to the backstage and had a conversation with me. I mean, WTF, I’ve been a fan for so long, I hadn’t even expected to take a picture with her, so this conversation made me lose my mind. Things got even better when she mentioned me on the stage during the concert. I was and am amazed by her personality. She’s so real and such a great person. Can’t wait to see her breaking trough with her role as Jasmine. She deserves all the success and glory! She clearly is the BEST! ❤️

Most settlers for North America had different accents like West Country, Irish, Scottish and Northern Eastern english and salied in the 1600 and early 1700 from Northern Ireland, North eastern England, South western England and East Anglia. So when the Modern English accent started to expand from the south east of England in the 1800s, the other accents had already mixed and developed the North american english accents in the US and Canada.

I like Jimmy Kimmel. His advocacy for health care and other progressive issues is invaluable and he's funny, but I remember Jay Leno saying he has a bit a mean streak in his interview style and damn if that's not true. You see how prodded Scott at the beginning of the interview, making her newfound fame seem like a curse? She just played it off with the "Don't go searching for it..." non sequitur because she was probably thinking "What the hell, man!?"

I think people really dont know what Indians look like. Dont base Simpsons for what a Indian looks like or sounds. Priyanka chopra is Indian, so is Friedo Pinto. But so is Aishwarya Rai with light eyes, So is Shraddha Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor . All. Beautiful women with different skin colors. Naomi defiently looks Indian, the lips, eyes and darker hair and thick eyebrows , tanned skin Her accent throws ppl off but of course your accent changes to where u live.

i watched all of Aladdin thinking she was sarah michelle gellar with make up to give her a middle eastern 'look'. was very surprised to find out it was not sarah who is not indain btw. sarah michelle gellar 20 years ago has the same nose, eyes, smile, and cheaks, just the heir color and tan that is really different.

Anyways I guess it is possible for a Indian to look like Sarah . I have a cousin who is full Indian and people think she looks like a younger version of Sarah. But yup my cousin looks Indian .

mj mj why are we humans so critical. The Indian subcontinent is massive - everyone looks different. Many are descendants of the Persians. True, I was skeptical myself and would have preferred bigger Bambi eyes but realizing how talented and beautiful inside out she is I say Disney couldn’t have picked a better actress.
