Omg 20:20 - 21:35 is just absolutely everything!!!! She is FLYING!!!!! 😭😍 I’m loving Napoli because it seems to be a ballet that has a lot of that fast-paced “fly-through-the-air” dance numbers! LOVE!!!!!!! 😭😻

c'est dans Napoli que Monique Loudiere fit son entrée à Garnier ballerine issue du Théâtre de la Gaîté Lyrique pour être quelques années plus tard choisie par Noureev pour Roméo et Juliette . c'est un divertissement qui me rappelle de vieux souvenirs on le revoit toujours avec plaisir ( 1972 )

Fun to see a rehearsal version of this where soloists just clump away after their numbers. and you can occasionally see stamina giving way. without an audience to perk them through it. This is such beautiful choreography. and an excellent group of dancers.

Here are the young Noureev-dancers : Hilaire ( the best with his Jumps ) ans Legris 22 Y old as his brother Hilaire IoI , Clerc also who danced all the Noureev-coreos but especially the young Camille Guérin " Nikiya " 1992 , Karein Averty did'not danced Noureev .
