you know what i specifically like about nardwuar. He's authentic. not like hot 97 or the breakfast club. they fake as hell. Nardwuar gets straight to the point in a more professional manner
mm yess i get what you mean..i guess what i really meant was that i agree with his approach method as an interviewer. He has a way of emotionally and psychologicaly engaging with the interviewee. his thorough research is always a surprise, like even the celebrities are put in a position where they actually dig deep in their mind to be like wow, where did you find that out. lol
Willie Williams Yeah, unlike most interviewers he makes it interesting as you said he also knows so much he suprises the interviewee but still makes them laugh afterhe maked them feel weird
This is the best interview I seen from j Cole... he is relaxed and having fun at the same time. He is on point for every question; so knowledgeable. One day I will meet him. My favor artist off all time with TUPAC.
This looks like a whole different rapper, and is amazing that seeing the 2021 interview it’s the same person and an even more amazing rapper. Looking at his position then to his solidified status now but have the humbleness be almost even great…gotta love the time capsule Nardwaur is so important to interviews. You won’t see this on Sway, Breakfest Club, Vlad…this is an ‘outsider’ who studies the artist so much he lets the inside person of the artist come out no matter how big or small they are. You interview with Nardwaur you get the same treatment which is in depth, in person, real and no bullshit
Pays as much respect to their craft as much as his. Genuine guy who cares about what he does and most artists feel the respect. Good wholesome interview here.
J Cole is my favourite rapper and I’m privileged to have seen him live 3 times. 2014 forest hills drive I know front to back and I just discovered this interview. So glad he’s just as chill as I expected, he’s always been great in interviews but especially here 1 on 1 is amazing as hell

I remember when you asked J Cole for an interview at a festival about 2 years ago and he said he didnt have time and he would next year. Well, 2 years have passed and even though covid happened you still owed him an interview Cole. BEST INTERVIEWER IN THE WORLD. AND DOO DOO DOO LOO DOO..

I hated Nardwuar's voice and accent in the beginning, but just loved how he is actually a good interviewer and knows what he's doing and is really prepared, fills up a small interview with so much information. But I gotta say after this interview, the whole act, accent and voice don't even bother me anymore! Love for Nardwuar
This interview unlike the other interviews he did with other rappers that I won't mention, is informative as far as hip hop and J Cole's career is concerned
J Cole comes across as so likeable and just seems like he wants to share what he's passionate about. Never seen an interview where somebody makes so many recommendations for youtube videos to go watch that helped shape him

So Cole was already 1 of my favorites, but after he just quoted a line from a SHAQ song he just went up in my book by 100! haha. Shaq Diesel was the very first CD I ever bought when I was about 7 years old lol
