agree!! she’s such a genuine person (also hilarious and an INCREDIBLE voice!) As you’re new to her if you want to check out videos of her singing on here would highly recommend “Don’t Leave me Lonely” or Reneé singing “Snow Angel” on SNL ❤
@@jennitrnn Once you get out of school you'll realize "lol 69 is the sex number" isn't considered a witty observation. Sorry me pointing out your comment was immature and unoriginal hurt your fee fees.
@@shawncarter5434 YES! I was so sad she wasn’t as her talent and music has been incredible straight out the gate, but tbf in terms of the public rightly catching on to her talent this has actually been way more of a HUGE breakout year like she deserves and she would have a much bigger chance of even winning !!!! The only thing is I think technically she might need to release more music and possibly break the hot 100 before September to be confirmed a nomination, so really hoping she does she’s so unbelievably talented and such a new force in the industry !!
Honestly one of the best interviews I’ve seen with her. Totally got her to drop her guard and reminisce. Also to see her hold back is totally wild. What must she actually think of those teachers…
When she said that “she was super present” in her Coachella performance compared to normal, as a fan you could actually tell how much she was genuinely thriving and loving every minute up there it was amazing to watch her energy was EVERYTHING she killed it ❤
I literally just found out about her on SoundCloud by randomly shuffling through music and learned from this video that she’s from like 15 mins away from me in NC, she’s dope!!
Think that's more of an indictment of our public education system and your own intelligence than anything. Nothing Nard talks abour would be covered outside of a history of popular music class.
that’s awesome!!!! I bet she was hilarious as a teen the way she talks about herself when she was younger 😅 so happy she’s getting the success her talent deserves !!!!!!
I have never seen such an interview. I am very intrigued, and I loved every part of it. Also, if you didn't know Renee before, check her out. She has great songs and a great personality. Another great interview with her is the one on The Terrell Show.
If anyone is new to her and interested, three recs to get to know her insane voice (and personality!) ❤ - Reneé on The Terrell Show - Reneé covering Don’t Leave me Lonely by Yebba - Reneé’s performance of her song ‘Snow Angel’ on SNL in January !!!
@@nedisahonkey I completely disagree! I don’t know how anyone could call songs such as In the Kitchen and Snow Angel “boring and soulless” and of course she has some pop bangers too! Also you have to remember she has only released her debut album, so there’s lots more to come and for her to show what kind of artist she is!
@@2tr6dinquwjos Well taste is subjective so its fine if you like it. And you do make a good point about her still having time to grow as an artist. The bar is just so high for young artists dropping amazing first albums: lorde, billie, olivia rodrigo. Like i said shes certainly talented vocally so she definitely has the capacity to make good art, I just haven't been moved by anything ive heard YET. Thank you for your courteous reply to my fairly grumpy comment.
I loved this lol. This interview was so cute and it was really wholesome to see Reneé's reactions to the gifts. She did so well on both of her Coachella performances and I'm so proud of her
Such a baddie and she has the BEST personality (and music taste!!) also an amazing voice, highly recommend watching her on The Terrell Show her vibe is everything!
If anyone is part of the Beyhive and loves how much Reneé loves Beyoncé (trust me she’s obsessed) go watch her sing Beyoncé on the Jennifer Hudson show or the Terrell show she’s amazing it’s the best crossover ever
