Naruto and One Piece games have been sub par, never reached its full potential compare to its show, like One Piece is suppose to be Strawhat Pirate travel and adventure in One Piece World, and yet the games they put out did even come close
Every one they release is shit no wonder. They should put the same level of passion and care that they do on huge Dragonball games, they would pop off like crazy. But it's always the same slop with naruto and always the same shitty beat them up with one piece
I mean we usually get a new game every 2 years with the last one outside of SZ being Breakers in 2022 which was pretty garbage. Its okay though because you will get Ultimate ninja storm connections redive chronicals return to naruto shinobi+
@@GameoftheYear-fx4mq but the thing is dragon ball was the staple for anime arena fighters so they get a pass because they started it with the bt series but other anime like jujustu could make a difference with anime games but sadly they didn’t and just made another arena fightert that was so trash that I didn’t even play it I watched how the game was first and then I watched gameplay and I didn’t want that game the only reason why anime games are mostly arena fighters is because anime fans don’t like to have patience so they just keep playing the same old games with the same gameplay but different characters so if you wanna blame anyone it’s the fans who can’t wait for there favorite anime to get a good game that’s not an arena fighter
@@GameoftheYear-fx4mq fighterz was not the same as the other anime games because it actually took skill to do zero to deaths and it was in the fgc so that makes it different than the other games I wish they’d use ips for different styles of gameplay but sadly fans can’t wait 😂 i can wait as long as it’s a good game tho but other people can’t wait and that’s why anime games are the way they are now lol 😂
Globku what happened to this game not meant to be balanced? 😭 Are you saying the current state of online is not fun and these changes you proposed won't upset the "unbalancing" of the game? As a casual who never touched ranked and only play with friends and local multiplayer, there are no complaints.
The lack of balance between characters might be ok as long as the DP points system is balanced but it clearly isn’t as characters with the same DP value can be vastly different in their potential.
How do people figure these strategies out??? Like do you want to win this much? Bt3 has been out for years but no one complained about any character except maybe Cell and some banned Yajarobi but that's all. 19 and 20 and Giants and Afterimage strike were never a problem
I feel like I’m the only person who cares about having a one piece fighter at this point lmao (even though i would also be okay with a one piece game like assassin’s creed black flag but all we ever get is some alright at best) so I probably get why the game got canceled. In an ideal world though all I would want is a cyber connect arena for one piece or at least just port the 3ds one piece fighter to ps4/5
Not buying the game on xbox isnt the solution it only gives them justification to not put games there. Japanese devs have complained that its difficult to develop on xbox since the original xbox. So its a developer issue and publishers need to put pressure on the studios to get better at developing on xbox or stop hiring them to make them adapt. At this point there is no excuse especially with how close PS and xbox are hardware. But thats exactly why xbox put out the survey to devs to find out the exact issues and help them improve. Unfortunately most of their issues are money issues.
@@RasenRendanX true but not every anime gets the best games for someone’s favorite anime and dragon ball obviously gets a lot of games because it’s the paste for anime without it being a thing a lot of people wouldn’t have become anime fans and ofc there’s a lot of of anime in the world so that’s why you should always try to watch an anime that you’ve never watched before without thinking about that others say about it these mangakas do their best work and there will come a time where they’ll pass like Akira toriyama or any other mangakas so just try any anime without listening to what others think about it because sometimes people like different things which is what we call preference so if you don’t like something that’s okay because other people love it and others hate it and that’s okay not everyone will love every anime and that’s the truth
Imagine if we got a new naruto storm game like dragonball sparking zero where we get to use all forms and more! They could bring back the tripple tap ult system fr storm 1, we can get wall battles back, jutsu clashes, ultimates with awakened states, all tailed forms of each tailed beast and its user! Etc.
In terms of balancing you would have to tweak the ACTUAL mechanics of the game before you touch on the characters. Not to mention that having delay based netcode online ruins those mechanics 10 fold like I wouldn’t mind unblockable ults or super if the controls were more responsive instead of delayed so I can vanish when I should be vanishing. When someone’s in sparking mode and they just spam me with ki blast I can’t move because I’m blocking or deflecting (should be able to dash out of a block and move while deflecting) movement options are so limited because everything takes ki. Somebody said that when you use 3 skill counts to go into sparking it should make you fatigue after which I think is a good idea (however many bars is up to you). And then we have perception being super safe and easy to spam just make to where you’re stuck there for a little bit after you use perception but even still it’s fairly easy to get around but it’s still abusable afterimage strike is the easiest to deal with anybody with ui gokus perception can smack someone with it on but still needs tweaks regardless. To super perception a giant it takes 1 skill count So if you have 0 it’s literally free unblockable damage. yajirobe is still a problem only because of how easy it is to get off a super counter and mash it in this game and vanish timings are sometimes/mostly off depending on the connection because of the AWFUL delay base netcode this game has so one easy super counter knock away and he can eat a senzu bean. Androids 19-20 (dr gero) are not really problems with grabs but the fact that they can spam ki blast and you should be able to move out of a block and run away is crazy just make super dashes cost ki But I realize while reading twitter that if you do something competitive in the game people are gonna hate and say it’s boring and not comp enough too much spam, but people are also saying that it doesn’t need any balance patches for even for the mechanics and it’s fine the way it is. This community is gonna annihilate itself
Wel storm connections is shit last good storm game was storm 2 and generation's also storm connections coule have been a storm 4 update or dlc rather see a one piece storm game or bleach storm game with clashes like sparking zero and same lvl of destruction
Naruto isn’t dbz it’s not about to receive games 20 years after it’s release yearly it’s not close to the cultural phenomenon that is dragon ball no other anime is
Naruto is definitely should be and still has the fan base it’s up there with dragon ball it’s just the people who own the Naruto gaming license don’t know what to do they should just make The Naruto gaming license open like how Marvel is doing right now

if only Bandai didn't spend a bunch of money on their horrible projects, like Unknown 9 - Awakening... Just don't team up with sweet baby and it will be fine.
Bandai have shown no will of improving games since a couple of years now Just look at all the concept they gave up (one piece oddysey, their gacha games) They want imediate profit yet they supported Blue protocol. now other game have to pay for those mistakes Not surprised those game were cancelled. Storm connection is a joke and they ain't willing to make a real modern storm since there was no imediat profit made of that game. same for odyssey (and perhaps pirate warriors 4 season 2 dlcs ?)
I have played every SAO game and Globkus assessment wasn’t wrong, honestly the last few games have all been really bad but this one the Coop is the saving grace, I haven’t played it again though since release as Sparking is just better
