mansvrfx His character arc was in my opinion the most consistent. He started off as super lazy and chill. However started to assume more responsibilities as he grew up. At first he just wanted to be simple. From taking responsibility as a leader after the assume retrieval arc, to avenging assume, to being the hokage’s assistant, he becomes nothing but simple. Most relatable character for me as I rewatched the series recently. A quote from him is he just wants a simple job and 2 kids and a simple wife but litteraly realizes the exact opposite as he grows up.

everything is fun untill you let shikamaru live and give him time to think........asuma's death arc probably was on of the most freaking arc in the series!!!

"I actually went out of my way to set the alarm last night, and I woke up before it even went off. I don't even feel like getting up to turn it off. But I can't deal with this stupid ringing forever. Ugh! Thinking about all of this is so troublesome!" -Shikamaru Nara
That was me in elementary school playing Capture the flag lol I would crouch down and strategies while everyone else was running around, trying to capture the opposing team's flag and failing. Then I would swoop in, capture the flag, and win the game for my team. Of course I would get tagged and put in jail, but I would always get out, ready to strategies again. Man I miss elementary sometimes
Update: I’m watching naruto shippuden (slow, I know) but I’ve also been spoiled to many of the “best fights of naruto” but that fight with shikamaru and temari is on a different level
This Remix flows like a leaf within the winds, paired by a cloud in the skies above. But brings so much heat, like the sun shining bright on a new morning.
