I feel like that was just Kabuto being too arrogant. He watched many of his reanimated shinobi be sealed away or resist his control over them. And then he got punk'd out and made by Itachi to release it lol.
@@Rakerong You're talking character motivations within the narrative. The reason the writer had Kabuto say that is so that Madara could later prove it wrong while reinforcing the idea that all forbidden jutsu are fobidden because they all potentially have huge detriments.
He was an elder in the leaf ofc he had access to all information and being from his era where he grew up there’s no way he didn’t learn abt and find counters for all of tobirama’s jutsus
Edo Tensei's binding(contract) was no more, so Madara just took control into his own hands, and all he needed was to remember the hand signs. I mean, Madara would at least know the hand signs of the Jutsu he has studied. And, of course, Madara would know and have studied Hashirama's and Tobirama's every single jutsu. They were enemies from childhood back then, and their survival would depend upon such intel. Also, knowing a whole lot about Edo Tensei is not a stretch when your goal is to resurrect yourself in the future.
First Hokage (Hashirama) and Second Hokage (Tobirama) are brothers only a few years in age apart. Madara fought against Hashirama and Tobirama countless times so It makes since that Madara would have good insight on how a technique Tobirama invented (Reanimation) is used and have some counters to the technique.
Madara knew the man who invented the reanimation jutsu. Tobirama himself. The brother of Hashirama and 2nd Hokage. Of course Madara would know its secrets. Makes sense when you think about it. Enemies always study and do their homework on one another. The saying "Keep your friends close. And your enemies closer" is very much a thing. Especially when discussing someone like Madara who loves power.
Madara was just too good, it makes you really wonder what sort of actual strategy Hashirama would have to beat him, he must have been unbelievably smart on top of all his powers to be able to beat someone like Madara.
The fillers really add another dimension to the story you know. Almost all fillers have some connection to the actual storyline. We get to know why something is the way it is and it adds in another emotional angle
Tbh the reeanimation jutsu risk isnt all that bad since all of the reanimations are under of partially binded and even if they know they could never make the signs. Even super powerfull people like nagato, itachi or the cage counld resist direct control by themselfs, thats why only people as strong or stronger than madara are able to do it. Bad luck madara obviously would know the signs since the second hokague invented it so it wouldnt surprise me.
The risk is in the release of the jutsu. While the jutsu was in effect Madara had no reason to take control but when it was released he did. Anyone if they knew the signs could have done what Madara did because during the release the reanimated shinobi regain full control.
@@mattiafornei2437 no actually he couldn't have cause he doesn't actually have knowledge to do it on himself, he's not even the one who physically did the release he had kabuto show him how to release it and then had kabuto release it.

Pakura wasn't a filler character though. She had a very minor role in the manga as were most of the secondary characters . Kishimoto purposefully created characters and set up a lot of fights in the manga that he never went back on to give anime team to do more fights to make the war more epic. Also Kishimoto was burned out and wanted to end the series quicker. So technically a lot of the so called filler in this war is canon. Kishimoto just told those stories via anime. Hell, he writes Boruto episodes nowadays. PS: Pakura has coolest Kekkei Genkai. She can use pure heat to vaporize people.
Madara rescinding the contract feels like something that was only given like two seconds of thought. It just came out of nowhere and happened to be the best option for Madara.
i mean , it does make sense tho. Reanimation jutsu is a kind of summoning jutsu, where the caster forcefully summons back the soul of the dead. now all summoning jutsus work on a contract between the caster and the summon. so if u know how to undo the contract then the caster cant "unsummon" you. it did come out of nowhere but i feel it makes sense

I will admit that it was a little more difficult whenever you got to filler episode and you're watching it whenever it was new because you were watching it on TV so you couldn't just fast forward every 10 seconds until you hit something that seemed interesting rewind a few seconds to make sure you get all of it and then watch the good parts and just get a gist of what's going on in the parts that you don't care about. That's essentially how I watch the show that came out after this one in the same universe simply because I want to see the stuff with the original characters and bits and pieces of the personalities of the new characters without actually having to watch every early mission that we have most likely seen before or that is just boring.
Funny that you say Madara's using cheat codes, considering he speaks of weaving the correct signs as an important part of rescinding the contract, and then weaves the wrong signs. The signs for Reanimation Jutsu: Release are Ne, Ushi, Saru, Tora, Tatsu, and I (Rat, Ox, Monkey, Tiger, Dragon, and Boar). The signs Madara weaved were Mi, Hitsuji, I, Inu, and Tora (Snake, Ram, Boar, Dog, and Tiger) followed by putting his hand to the ground as if to form the jutsu formula of a standard Summoning Jutsu. There's no way the creator of the Reanimation Jutsu made two different counters; one for the summoner and one for the summoned, and even if they did, where/how would Madara have learned of it.

@@devonm042690 madara was alive when obito died. That's like generations after that. He fought hashirama when the village was newly created, then you have tobirama as hokage then hiruzen and then minato. He was alive in minato's generation what do you mean when he had time?
