And what REALLY made him Otsutsuki was Momoshiki giving him Karma. In the chapter 54 of Boruto, Borushiki (Momoshiki) told Kawaki, this goes for anyone who has Karma, even if they get rid of Karma, how far they leveled up karma, is how much Otsutsuki they are. Kawaki and Boruto leveled it up to 80%. So both of them are 80% Otsutsuki. And the reason why I depend on Boruto being Otsutsuki is because seeing how Isshiki chose Kawaki as a vessel due to his body being a better vessel than Jigen should make him stronger than Isshiki and seeing the time skip of Boruto going toe to toe should mean that Kawaki is stronger than Naruto and Boruto is stronger than Naruto going toe to toe with Kawaki.
