What people don't get about naruto one piece both like dragonball was they were all started before 2000 so kids grew up with those mangas like comics as outcasts with no friends so it means a lot in japan for those characters to get animated and given this much effort and care because people working boruto probably grew up since 1999 reading naruto monthly for years before it got good or serious cause the exams were not until 2001 aka the expansion of the cast and there was no anime until 2002 and out west we didn't get the dub until 2005 ....give the girl characters more respect...girls grew up loving hinata and she loves the mc...thus they get a happy ending...period...

It’s funny cause in the filler episode where Road To Ninja Sakura ends up in the canon world during the events of the film (everyone thinks she has memory loss), she actually mentions it and even pokes Tsunade’s chest to see if it’s real 😂

If you watch the fillers you can actually pinpoint when this exactly happens! There is a filler which Ino finds Sakura but she kinda has a memory loss and makes Hinata wear sexy clothes and covers Neji's eyes trying to remember! At the end of the day she sees her parents, crys and gains her memory. It was this world's Sakura that switched place with ours so the movie happened the same time as that filler episode

Suraj was totally right when he said “Tobi just created the Matrix”, and even though these two technically are not Naruto’s real parents, this IS how they would’ve acted if they were still around, and it’s EXACTLY how they were when they were alive, especially Kushina’s temper. Road to Ninja was great for a number of reasons, not the least of which was it giving us the viewers a window into what might have been.

I know a lot of people may prefer The Last as the best Naruto movie since it’s canon but for me, it’s Road to Ninja. Precisely because like you said, this shows a lot of what ifs and what could’ve beens and I find it more interesting. Minato and Kushina would definitely act like this towards Naruto had they’ve been with him growing up except for the last part where Naruto and the Normies realized that the real Minato would never abandon a comrade and prioritize the safety of the village with no hesitations. He would not back down just like the Minato in this limited Tsukuyomi. And that’s what made Naruto appreciate his real parents more. They died for a real cause but Naruto is their legacy.

@@VDA19 Since this movie, Masashi Kishimoto-sensei has made scripts for all of Naruto movies until Boruto. So those movie are kind of canon. And as you know, The last and Boruto are Canon.

actually, this movie is related to the fillers where sakura lost her memory and they were trying to let her remember and she turned out to be from another universe .. was cuz both sakura switched places .. there was even some flashback with her remembering her hero father before he heads to battle in this fillers

Menma having black hair was one of the distortions. He and Naruto being the same person, and Naruto being an interdimensional interloper is why his presence caused the kind of negative resonance it did with Menma. This being part of the distortion effect Tobi talked about is why Menma's hair turned Minato yellow at the same time the jutsu keeping Naruto and Sakura there was broken.

44:15 Naruto had me in the brink of tears here. Reminds me when he parted ways with Minato after the fourth great ninja war although that scene had me actually bawling hard. And Kushina’s parting words have always felt downright heartbreaking no matter how many times it gets repeated on flashback.

This movie takes place roughly after episode 250 of shippuden i think.......according to google Kishimoto (the creator of Naruto) had no involvement in any of the Naruto movies except for three, Road to Ninja: Naruto, The Last: Naruto and Boruto: Naruto the Movie. But the only movie that is considered canon is, The Last: Naruto the Movie is considered canon.

the boruto movie is canon, it came out just as the naruto MANGA had ended, years before the shippuden anime concluded and the boruto manga and anime began.

The Boruto Movie IS canon. Its a nice way to bookend Shippuden. Unless you wanna continue the story in which case you ignore the Boruto Movie and go right into the show which ends up adapting and expanding the movie plot to fit the shows canon of events. There's also the fact that both Naruto/Sasuke vs Momoshiki are different somewhat and they're both awesome in their own ways so I'd say give it a watch regardless.

Its canon in the sense that Kishimoto did write the story for it , even had it tie into a manga chapter/ uses canon material from the main series , it just doesnt affect the overall main story

Madara said sending Naruto to this world would cause ripple in the world and changed things. What changed was Menma got displaced by Naruto and was that anomoly. This could basically take place before the war bur after pain fight.

Hey guys, I'm sure everyone has their recommendations for movies, but obviously the canon one(s) make sense. You mentioned you'd watch 'the one at the end of shippuden', so I'll assume you mean Naruto the Last. That's awesome, it's one of the best. However, I'd also suggest the 'Boruto: Naruto the movie'. It's probably my favourite: the animation is excellent and in contrast to what the title might suggest, the legacy characters get to shine, while it mostly just introduces Boruto. I wouldn't recommend watching the Boruto series, but the movie is worth it.

This movie, like other moments, is why many of us hated Sakura and thanked God that Naruto stayed with Hinata, here Sakura shows that despite having lived a tiny fragment of Naruto's lonely life, she does not feel sympathy for him, abandoning him his birthday at the end of the movie. Also for those who say that the relationship between Hinata and Naruto was forced, it seems that they have no eyes, from the beginning of the series it is seen that Hinata has always supported Naruto, until the end of this, being the only one to risk her life For Naruto to see him defeated in Pain fight, his help could have been useless, but he raised more than Sakura, the only thing he did was shout for Naruto hoping that he would solve everything.

??? Abandoned him? Dude she literally lives with her parents and they were waiting all night for her to return. On top of that in regards to what you said about the pain fight, did you forget that It was Naruto himself that told no one to intervene during that fight, and that most people didnt know exactly where the fight was taking place or the specifics of it because the village was destroyed and a literal blast zone. Hinata was one of the only few who could locate the fight because of her eyes. And then on top of that Sakura wanted to go help in the fight and asked gamagichi to take her, but he followed naruto's orders told her no, and left tusnadae (who needed help) in her care.

@@soufian2733 I have never said that it is better in aspects of ability, it would be funny to compare a secondary character like Sakura in terms of achievements to an almost ornamental one like Hinata, but nobody can deny me that since the beginning of Naruto the only ones who supported Naruto since the beginning. beginning was Iruka and Hinata.

they were. not much, but they were. in the movie minato refuses to go after the masked man and doesn't allow naruto to go, because he is "selfish" and puts his family above the village and peace, "we can't go risking our lifes for everyone else". which is something the real minato would never say, his iconic phrase is "we are family of shinobi"

I hope they react to Chikara arc (Power arc), that arc was supposed to be a movie but they cutted it to make episodes. It has the best animation on the entire Shippuden in my opinion, and the plot is interesting.

And has some great character moments for both naruto and sakura fr .. . 💯 And I don't care if this is filler or anything , that last scene of naruto thanking his parents for everything they did for him , even the smallest things , during his little genjutsu , is pure canon for me . That's sth he would definitely do if he got the chance .. . ❤
