Up until the fart, Naruto was actually using a lot of tactical strategies like using shadow clone to catch akamaru then transforming himself as akamaru to trick kiba and then that whole sequence of him transforming into kiba, then faking getting knocked out and transforming "back" to akamaru making kiba doubt his senses. Yes, the fart ruined it but it was actually a cool fight up until that point.
Ikr the fart was suppose to just be like a “haha satire moment” but in reality it made everyone hyped for nothing. It probably would have been fine if naruto didn’t say anything about a new special technique bc that hyped me up when I was younger
Exactly, this was a solid fight. The problem was opting to end the fight in a comedic manner was a bad idea. A good example of how humor can kill good/decent writing.
@@heroe1486 Comedy is good when isnt critical to the battle, for example take reverse harem vs kaguya, what naruto got out of it was a single punch who in the big picture of the fight is meaningless, here the joke took down kiba long enough for naruto to get the win in an otherwise unwinnable fight.
While kiba’s moves, jutsus, and strategies were flawless and only failed because naruto Was the protagonist, you mustn’t forget the fact that kurenai Did in fact try To Use genjutsu against itachi
Kiba failed because the jutsu he had been using to his advantage for so long, finally backfired, not that it really matters, kiba would have lost regardless of the fart

Do you understand how insanely strong Naruto's fart would be to Kiba? With Kiba's amazing sense of smell and Naruto eating ramen every day, I'm surprised he didn't faint right then.
Watching this now It's hilarious to see how Naruto was hit multiple times again and again and again and still be able to stand up meanwhile Kiba was hit like 2x only before being knocked out 😶 well, what else to expect, he was fighting the main character afterall...

@@lpy1102 Naruto has the excuse of no parrents and no one to care for him. He tries hard to be noticed. But is able to think and shown to concentrate when needed. When a good teacher can make him concentrate, he learns fast and is quite calm. With Hinata he was shown vulnerability. With her he was calmer.Nothing to prove. He understands she is nice enough to care for him. He was also shown to think in fights. The combo against Zabuza, Kaiba here, Neji, Gaara, even learning moves by being intelligent. He made the Rasengan work by splitting the strain. Tries to be a good person. Help others. Kiba is bad. Really bad. He's on the lowest levels of the group. Both Shino and Hinata are smarter and more powerful. Choji the same. Lee is a better fighter and strategist. And Lee is preety low at strategy. Has way better diversity. Ten ten was better, she had a bad matchup. Shikamaru, no competition. Neji is a douche, but is stronger and smarter. Sasuke is a hothead, but can be calmer, when no brother talk. He's with Ino and Sakura. Mosre stupid than them, but stronger.
Honestly this was back in a day when anime felt more like a cartoon, gags like farting tend to be funny, I was only 9 when I first saw this and I thought this fight was amazing 🤣🤣 but now I'm almost 25 and I'm like.. woow the writers allowed me to accept this as my reality, main character wins by a fart😭
Sad thing is: if kiba had used a kunai and wounded Naruto in the stomach, he would have won. Sure, he would have done a grievous wound to a fellow shinobi of the leaf, and we have to assume that each leaf genin is trying to not kill each other, even when throwing shuriken or kunai. So, at least we can respect that, even if he hate him, Kiba didn't want to gravely hurt Naruto.
Old Naruto was so good. Every characters weren't OP, they need to use everything you have to win. Naruto at this time only had few jutsus and he need to find the way to use them efficiently.

Its funny how this is actually the only fight Naruto wins by his own right on the whole show. In all his others fights he wins with the help of others or Kurama's.

yeah, it was always his thing. Since first fight he ever had, the one with Kakashi, we saw he likes to use smart strategies. Then against Zabuza we were all amazed :D

It annoyed me how unrealistic this was, no matter how many times he got hit he always got back up like noting happens. Dont tell me this was cuz Naruto is strong willed and shit, in real life he would have so many broken bones standing up would have hurt like shit.
This fight shows that no matter how skilled or prepared you are, the protagonist will always be stronger than you even if he simply got hit the whole time. I mean, I know Kiba is not the protagonist and he needed to lose, but come on-- at least not after a fart and a single kick.

I loved kiba in season 1. When i first started watching he was actually my favorite character for a long time, i didnt even know why he was just cool to me. And yeah, kiba should and could have won like 3 seperate times but you know something something plot armor, something something main character
I know they said having the dog wasn't considered cheating but come on, its a completely separate being, its not like a puppet that is solely reliant on his chakra
uchiha vinay Naruto without Kurama would still remain really strong. He would’ve better chakra control and could perform much more jutsus. At the age of 16 he was already at Kage level and almost defeated Pain. He has the big chakra reserves of an Uzumaki and he inherited the talent of the 4th hokage

it kinda makes sense why naruto can still stand up even after such beating not just because he has the will but because he has insane amounts of chakra reserves and kiba doesn't hence why kibda is getting tired while naruto is still barely able to stand everytime also cuz jinchuriki hax
4:25 if Naruto followed up with the Uzumaki Barrage here and KO'd Kiba it'd be a much better ending to the fight tbh. He actually fought really smart with all the clones and substituions but everyone remembers the fart lol
It is a move improvised by watching the copy used once with no Sharingan. Is incredible. That type of thinking to make a move based on a copy by applying what you have at that point.
