+Atom polow the don used a stock sound from massive plug in. its a stock loop. whatever though ...all good just saying i came across that loop recently. still a banger
Midnight Club is the only medium I ever heard this song on. The feeling is amazing when you are in 2nd place and this song comes on and the beat starts rising... the streets is asking for a Hero! And you pass the 1st place guy just seconds before the finish line!!! Best feeling.
How on earth does this only have 7.8M views??! One of the best songs ever made. I still remember the first time I heard this song when it came out I almost cried when I heard the beat, one of the most beautiful rap songs out there
1st verse: He's talking about how he started in the rap game 2nd verse: He's talking about how he grows as an artist 3rd verse: He's talking about the name of his album and how he was forced to change the title, as well as saying whatever is on his mind regardless of corporate wishes This song is actually really deep if you decipher the lyrics. That's one of the main reasons why Nas is one of the greatest lyricists in hip hop.
True! I love the fact that he still lip-synced "Doug Morris" here. It got censored on the official track and the video, but he wasn't going to let censorship interfere with his freedom of speech xD
muvdafukupouttahere I agree the reason why rappers rap about drugs, sex, and violence is because of the corporations. Nas is different he says whatever is on his mind. He don’t care about how the Corporations feels
Can’t believe after 10 years. I finally get to remember this song. This includes 5 years of searching for the title… Nas killed it on this. Let’s Gooo 🔥
August 8, 2021. Who else is watching with me all the way from Lagos, NIGERIA? I recall when this song came out 13 years ago and how my classmates and I rocked to this song back then in Secondary school. This is my first time of watching this video since I last watched it over a decade. Pure nostalgia. Great musicians. Sweet memories back then.
Those good ol days in 2008/2009 when you are facing Booke's S600 with your Murcielago Roadster, Gallardo Spyder, Corvette Z06, S7 Twin Turbo, Cobra Concept or Ford GT.
deez nuts even the fucking beat. The melody and funny part about it is everything fits perfectly. The Beat , The lyrics the vocals....it’s a banger. Not like what other be like oh it’s a hit just by the Beat. This song in a whole is a banger. 🔥🔥🤦🏽♂️
Chris Oyarzabal You're brain dead if you think those guys can even hold Nas' microphone when he's taking a piss. I'm really not trying to be rude because everyone has their own opinion but dude, what the fuck? That's like comparing Kris Humphries or someone of that caliber to a Michael Jordan or a Magic Johnson. It's just cannot be done.
***** NAS had a couple of Joints~ One Mic is Okay, but Ether was his best all time joint, and perhaps one of the greatest rap joints of all time. However his joint, "Hero," ft. Keri Hilson is an okay joint, but this hit doesn't even come close to Young Jeezy' s joint with Rihanna ~ Hard, or Jay Z's Joint with Alicia ~ Empire State Of Mind! On the other hand just a couple of Tupac Joints will send NAS packing, and the reality is that even NAS knows that, but you don't; Hold you head and Against all odds are by far the joints that will hold NAS hands down!
Midnight Club introduced me to Nas back in 2010. Even though I was only 10 yrs old. Now I'm a heavy hip hop fan and hip to the hard old school shit that was way ahead of its time. From Wu Tang, Mobb Deep, Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest, etc. Thank You, Rockstar Games ✔️.
They said the same around that time. Every time someone says that they don't realize it has always been said. In the 90s they said they don't make music like the 80s. *smh*
I remember seeing the audi R8 for the first time in this video and my young 8 year old mind was blown..still a beauty to behold sadly iv never seen one in real life..i live in a 3rd world country..people in 1st world countries are so blessed just to be born there if u knew how life is down here yall would be greatful for the hand life dealt you.soo grateful
i don't play the game anymore because my ps3 is in my basement and i am to lazy to get it up to my room, but the game is lying here and i think that i will play the game soon again :D
we need the hero nas is the greatest i ever heard before other than big pac and a few others nas jadakiss rapped about stuff that matter it really speaks to me we need music like this
BAM5879 Nas got his inspiration from 2pac they grew up on the same block, he's a modernised visionary nobody can even come into comparison with nas now, except for immortal technique which is a group not one individual rapper i think nas is even in immortal technique,so i have been told. & you can't make a statement saying who is better than the other there both great hip-hop artists,
For me, this song is very powerful and motivational. The chorus was very well done and vocals from Keri Hilson make me feel like I can move mountains! 💪
I agree about Pac and Nas, Kendrick is ok, but he'll never be a legend like the first two; And Dre is just a producer [a good producer backed by a lot of other small producers that stand(or use to) behind him @ Aftermath].
To whoever reads this, I hope you have a wonderful day and no matter what stay happy as that is what matters most in life, You are truly amazing and no one can ever take that away from you, Be happy and enjoy life, We don't have long on earth so make the most of it, Have a wonderful day, (Written by Matt Barbour, so not me. But I thought it looked nice so I shared it)
One thing i love about nas is his videos. all the crazy spots he raps on top of and in and underneath. beautiful scenery. and when he gets all his peoples in his videos too. that to me represents real hip hop in the video scene at least
