Nas - KING'S DISEASE 2 - THE TRUE FIRST REACTION!

Honestly, this is about as good as it gets. I apologise for the lateness - August has been a busy time. But Nas - King's Disease 2 is timeless so it ultimately doesn't matter. An essential record, highlighting one of the finest rappers to ever hold a mic at the peak of his powers, in combination with the peerless Hit-Boy.

This is a classic for the Era of hip hop we are in today. It’s a shame that a lot of people might not see that possibly until 20 years later when people might review hip hop in this time line and say which rap album did you love. This album will definitely stand the test of time . Hit boy did an amazing job modernising some of the jazzy soulful beats to fit this era of hip , also giving him beats that Nas wouldn’t possibly rap over . Beats like 40side with that vibe of vibe but changing it up to fit Nas taste & YKTV with collaborations you wouldn’t thing Nas would like to collaborate with & and with a beat that would see playing in hip hop in terms of what we here today So overall to me apart from the EMPD track I wasn’t too much feeling the album it’s a classic & to here Nas say on Apple Music that the next project with Hit Boy might be magical because of there connection with one another makes me excited for there next project

Haven't listened to Nas or Rap for something like 10 years, although I never forgot that Illmatic and It Was Written are the best albums I ever listened to. But when I heard this I saw the old Nas return - because he has his old lyrics and voice, bug have also changed, as you said. This might become an historical album.

I’m not surprised Jon Denton ran out of superlatives. It’s absolutely phenomenal that Nas is touching 50 And is still producing music of this calibre that is still relevant and current and progressive.

Rap Album of the year. Easily. Yeah, Donda and CLB have the clout but Nas murdered this album from start to finish.
