I know the name of the first track is "Not For The Radio" .. This nigga Terrance be fuckin' up smh. But Enjoy! Album got mixed Reviews! Leave your thoughts. #Whole9
Loic Reviews 1. Not For Radio (PRIDE) 2. Cops Shot The Kid (WRATH) 3. White Label (GLUTTONY) 4. Bonjour (LUST) 5. Everything (GREED) 6. Adam and Eve (SLOTH) 7. Simple Things (ENVY) NASIR
Fluid creativity yes UHHHH...why did I try to let this album breath before watching all of these? How do you pass up a bar like glocks were created for murder enhancement? Gaston Glock? Dayaam
Fairplay Terrific he also never sold his soul that’s why he’s still alive they killed pac for doing it and for the new age bitches they killed x for doing it
@@CliffordAdamsJr409 Hands down I guarantee you it was cause of the Trump shit. Politicking and the Grammys been on some bullshit a long time. If they knew what they were doing, Kanye would have won Album of the Year for MBDTF, Kendrick would have won for TPAB, and this year, Kanye would have won Producer of the Year.
With the wave of pretty good music dropped. This album will be overshadowed by The Carters but when you really dive in to this album it's great. It has some sharp messages, and Nas doesn't waste any bars. Only critique is that some of the songs are not mixed in perfect sync with his voice. But for diehard Nas fans you recognize that hasn't lost a step in cadence. In addition, he gave an album for a younger generation to reintroduce himself why he's a legend in the game. Pretty good review but this album won't be appreciated until later similar to how people revered Nastradamus or Streets Disciple.
“I pray my sins don’t get passed down to my children. I made a killing” The song is named Adam & Eve. Their sons were Cain & Abel. Cain killed his brother.
david abramovitz I still haven’t let Nas grow on me all the way! But it’s not a bad album at all! Honestly I’m stuck on Pusha T like it needed more tracks 😂😂😂
joshua villarreal once Teyana comes out I’ll have them all in the Good music playlist so they can just all run together. I’m hoping Ye does more music this year and not just stop after this!
Yeah, I love this album but thought Nas wasn't as lyrical but you guys just changed my mind on it. Alot of stuff was just going over my head. Definitely album of the year. Just wish there was more of it. 7 tracks feels too short.
FlamencoOz Man It's not your fault some people just have a better knowledge and awareness on things. But I do think that it's up to the consumer to know what kind of artist they're prepared to listen to, but hey Nas is that type of against the grain artist....
The ghosts of gangsters dance Chinchillas shake on the hanger, the force of this banger Yeah, my language advanced, my cadence amazin' The voice triggers somethin', what is this conundrum? The clouds scurry, your spirit rumble, a boyish smile Still puff the loud, it's nothin' less than a quarter pound Savage narrative, every verse that I write bursts light Brings awareness to my personal life 🤴🏿
I love this album, it gets better the more i listen to it and you're right its the subject matter that I love about this album, Nas illustrating culture history and the value of Black lives its simply a beautiful album. Love your reaction and what your catchihng took me 20 listens lol You smart boyssss ps: your fights give me life lmao
Crazie Trazie Some folks are more well versed than others. Granted I'm not insulting you but they picked up on a lot of things on their 1st LISTEN lol that says a lot about what kind of thinkers they are....
Ranking Kanye Wests HISTORIC month, Kanye 100 percent separated himself, what hes done with these 4 projects on a production standpoint alone is masterful! 1.Kids See Ghosts 2.Daytona 3.Ye 4.Nasir Nas fell a little short on this album, im sorry but his bar is the highest and he didnt reach expectations. The beats on the other hand and production is amazing! Its not bad to be ranked 4th because the other 3 albums are legit classics. Thank you Kanye West for this month of June in 2018...lets see if he can go 5/5 with Teyana Taylor.
J Alves I fuck with that list heavy; by no means was Nas whack but like you said, it was disappointing for him. I wanted to like it so much but I think Life Is Good was better.
I like Nasir the same as Daytona. imo a lot of the bars I didn’t think they caught in the first listen. The production was beautiful in this project, and Nas delivery is on fire like always. All of these albums are amazing tho so my list would be 1.KSG 2.Daytona and Nasir 3.ye (and I also love Ye for it’s own reasons especially for Ghost Town, so it’s not a bad thing to be last, just didn’t fuck with it AS much as the others, but I still love it)
Love this album. Jays Z is a cool rapper, I just don’t relate to his subject matter. I am so over his relationship raps and his money raps. Nas album was beautiful! I have Pusher T, Ye, Cudi, and Nas in a G.O.O.D Music playlists on shuffle... so GOOD!
I’m glad y’all really soaked up the bars and production in the same ways I did. I’ve never seen an album so underrated so early. Not trying to overrate this, but there was some REAL food for thought, fire flows, and incredible production blended in Nasir.
Kanye has his own religion, politics, and thinking. He can Wear the MAGA hat and fight for illegal immigrant rights. That's just Kanye. He is free and independent when it comes to his thinking.
joshua villarreal illegal immigrans have limited rights when they break in the country homie. Just like if you broke into Mexico Federalies would stomp your ass out or worse
Untitled Part II. Thank you Nas! ✨ Every album should come with a list of recommended books. I learned about Ivan Van Sertima via Nas. Now I own and still read those books!! 📚 (I really wanna know who Diddy was talking to on Ross album too...I listen to that record for motivation)
The first verse in "Not For Radio" is a classic verse that will probably go over most of you younger cats head (even the Mallory Bros). Nas said "Black Kemet gods (yeah), black Egyptian gods (let's go) Summoned from heaven, blessed, dressed in only Goyard. Homie go hard like Stone and Robert in a stolen car....Do you little cats even know anything about "Stone and Robert"? Nas is a lyrical genius.
Breaking News!!! NEW ALBUM ALERT NAS IS DROPPING AGAIN THIS YEAR OR TOP OF THE YEAR, GREAT REVIEW 👑'S ON THIS NASIR PROJECT BE ON THE LOOK-OUT FOR THE NEW ALBUM!!
these guys are so funny..not only do you get a review on new music.. you forget about all your personal issues just watching these two brothers go at it.. I love how they never agree on anything!
Nas was lyrically lovely on this album (definitely a few classics here) but Kanye’s production competes with his flow on a couple of the tracks which hurts the project for me....still give it a 7/10.
Fairplay Terrific I'm comparing it with Illmatic, Stillmatic, Life is Good and the more commercial - It Was Written album. When you put it up against those projects it's just a 7 for me. Something about the album doesn't quite feel like Nas and I think it was the heavy production but the lyrical content is still good stuff for me.
They don't have to do it immediately. In the future maybe? Because they already have heard some of X's songs. They don't have to capitalize on his death for views. Just some suggestions for the future.
310791 I dont think you'll want that. They actually pay attention to lyrics and X's lyrics are just...ugh. Not to mention he's an abuser and I cannot fuck with that.
Kanyes intentions with the maga hat were misunderstood. Kanye just trying to spread love and telling yall not to hate Trump but to show love(pray for him) for one another and care like god would wanted to. If Jesus was on this planet he wouldn't hate Trump he would love him even if doesn't agree with him. Atleast that what I got
They aint ignoring Trump, but rather through love, we learn from each other and influence each other for the better. For instance, Kim K and Alice Johnson.
O Pa Kanye said that he does not agree 100% with Trump in the same message! That's how fucked up things get when comes to Kanye West, everything he says get off context easily and i don't agree 100% with Kanye too, but the guy get so much for so little or because he's bad with words, like, imagine if he said "We been slaves, slaves of our own mind for 200 years", and if u go back to TCD u will see that have been talking about this shit from day 1! Go listen to "All falls down", tell me if it's not the same fucking shit. God, even others rappers talks about this shit, Jay not long ago dropped "The Story of OJ", the same fucking message, the only controversial he got was "He is talking about jews, he's using that racists cartoons" and blabla, do your research and get your own opinion, do go with the mob.
There has been some confusion around this John Hanson thing @ 3:15. There are two John Hanson's; the first Hanson (white) was the 1st President of the Confederation Congress. The second Hanson (black) served as a senator from Grand Bassa Country in Libera. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hanson en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hanson_(Liberia)
1. Kids See Ghosts 2. Ye 3. Daytona 4. Nasir But what I love bout it is that everyone is gonna have different lists including me depending on what album I'm listening to at the time and I end up editing my list . Ye killed it this summer with so many different flavors and literally everything he put out being fire. Surgical summer indeed!
DJ KING freedom Check Out Lost In Vegas Those Dudes Are great with the Reviews and Breaking Down Lyrics....But I agree this Review was Great because they didn't allow the Subject Matter and Lyrics to Go Over Their Heads...
