No what he described is the difference between being an employee and an entrepreneur. When you don't have a pot to pissss in it's hard to work for free to soak up all the game because you need money to pay bills so people will take the quick employee cheque. This is about wealth buying you the time needed to STUDY THE BUSINESS. There is NOTHING inherently wrong with our people. Our circumstances have us in the same choke hold it would have any group subjected to it.
@jayc5756
@jayc5756 Год назад
@@PardonMyPresence He wasn't necessarily talking about employee and entrepreneur. Both are valuable in their own way. But he was talking about ppl LEARNING...Learning the business. Plenty of so called entrepreneurs that don't wanna learn shit...they just wanna Get Money. And there's employees in this same entertainment business...that studies and learns about shit...that knows more than that so called entrepreneur. So nice try trying to make it something its not...and look like you're trying to employee shame. SMH! Both are valuable. As long as people are doing whatever they wanna do...and passionate about and like or love, I have no issue with whatever they do. It is what it is.

So Nasty Nas has been a "business man" from day one. He's always been a very graceful individual, I'll be 44 December 5th and I still admire the way he carries himself, we ain't hear sun raise his voice until Hate Me Now & One Mic. He's always exhibited supreme self-control and he never played his self. He is my favorite emcee, lyricist, poet, writer and to me he is amongst the greatest writers of our time in all genres of the art form. #QB4LIFE

@@brianjackson3031 watch the full video. He says it clearly. That was not the name of the company that Biggs paid. There was no serchlight publishing until years after takeover. @MrSleeplessnights
@MrSleeplessnights Год назад
@@brianjackson3031 you're confused. The lie is countering "I count dough when you sample my voice" with "I know who I paid, serchlight publishing". There was nothing call serchlight. Serch says it himself. No company with that name. And the counter is to try to make people believe that nas didn't count dough when Jay sampled his voice, like nas didn't get paid and like nas was lying. The people on the pocast are shocked that nas owns publishing on that song because Jay's lie worked. He paid the company that paid Nas so Nas got paid. So why did Jay bring it up as a Diss? Because he wanted to mislead the people to score a counter. Class is now over for the day. I will not be replying
