www.vladtv.com/ - Back in 2006, Nas sat down with Julio G of 93.5 KDAY in Los Angeles to speak about rappers taking shots at him over the years, including 50 Cent, Jay Z, and more. He also speaks about squashing his beef with Jay Z after "Ether," and shares a story about running into Tupac at the MTV Awards before he died.

Legend Arti I mean I still have classics always in rotation that’ll never change, but I’ve also got an ear out for more modern rap that stands out and makes waves. Currently I think Denzel Curry is one of the hardest out right now and at times is a really solid lyricist. Also J.I.D is can go at Eminem levels of fast spitting lines with a lot of charisma kinda like Wayne’s older stuff, again another great lyricist. Just some recommendations of more contemporary rappers that I think stand out among the crowd and do their own thing.

Pac & Nas are both Poets, which means they reign supreme over many other Rappers. There's a difference! Pac & Nas are True Writers (Poets); meaning, they can Poet about anything. However, a rapper can only rap about money, hoes, and clothes and their topics are extremely limited. Biggie was talented, but he was NOT a Poet, he was a Rapper. Nas & Pac are may favorite poets, but Pac in my opinion was a better Poet because of his status and the many many songs he made covering a wider range of topics. salute to all. Son of Kush

@@lubui2583 I love both rappers but Biggie was just so subliminal and that's why everyone gives Pac so much praise because he says shit simple and plan "Fuck Biggie" "I fucked biggie's wife" ppl listening to rap during that time was a bunch of young ppl tryna be gangsta so they loved hearing raw at yo face straight up shit how they heard it in the streets, ain't nobody dissing subliminally in the streets you got beef with someone you saying they name and telling them straight up and that's what Pac was doing and biggie wasn't saying nothing but subliminals only ppl who studies lyrics can catch , that's why ppl ride Pac because he came at you raw , no wordplay just fuck you type shit say what's really on your mind, but pac can get clever let's not forget he was a poet and got on tracks with Big daddy kane himself and kool G Rap labeled Pac the Marvin Gaye of rap and kicked it with Pac

I agree what Nas is saying. I saw Behind The Music documentary with him and he talk to 2Pac about dissed him back and forth. Nas did talk to Pac at the 1996 MTV VMAs before he died. Pac said "I'm sorry I dissed on my records and I will deleted it". Nas said, "How you gonna do that"? And 2Pac said "Come meet me in Vegas". Afterwards, meeting with 2Pac in Las Vegas was never happen. So after Pac/Biggie died, Nas was the hip hop hero who changed people's lives forever.

***** To be honest, Nas is my favorite artist in my times along with Cube, Scarface, Big L, AZ. He changed my live and become my inspirational hero ever since. I can see what's your opinion about it but I got to keep him on my 'MC's of All Time' list. Illmatic is still the greatest album of all time in hip hop. Period! I believe that Nas didn't lost his edge so far. He does have something to rap about. No complaints. Otherwise, Nas is the greatest!!

Be serious , Nas is just flesh and can change no man but Approach Christ Jesus for himself if he is that smart. You must keep yourself from Not being. Un comfortable after Time here. Christ talks about the pit and it's scary , and I want blacks to escape that. They have been thru too much here with that Slave rooted world. They need Comfort. I saw all these White people sleeping on City busses when I stepped On, meaning they will feel A hard time and have no where to go , all will. Suffer who Jesus leaves here. Iran ain't scared they have Weapons , I saw it in a dream And no one will rap ever again. They won't want too.. China will take the stage, And Russia will ride with them. Where they fail is when they try to beat Israel out, it can't be Done! That is God's throne room. Whites would not leave The movies and I asked this person who was hard to see why they wood not go home, and they said they have no places, the school lunch Halls were full of lost people. Christ will not turn anyone away who calls him for help.
