Honestly, I heard this one before the album version. It was on a mixtape called "The Death of Escobar" if I remember correctly. That mixtape also had other demo version from The Lost Tapes including the demo version of "Gotta Love it".
@@charlesdominguez4245 I thought that was closer to like 1998, probbaly same stuff as Nas 2000... Fetus was there, the original project windows, poppa was a player, Stay Alive, etc. Those were the days. I remember bumping Nas 2000 and Cormegas mixtape Montana Way heavy that summer
@@re-mix1040 Well the same way you would bite anything; change the original to make it sound as if you thought of it yourself, then again hip hop was born on a bite so 🤷♂️
WHOA__ take it in blood was my favorite song as a kid. I'm 38 now and hearing this for the first time. Just imagine ___. Oh yeah, and do nothing but go to the gym now. Talk about ABOUT TO GET MY MONEY ___ n.a.s are the letters that spell......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How is nas not the goat fit New York. He came out 30 Years ago with the best hip hop album ever and still is !! And still making gems and nobody else is !! And off these words alone , it’s no comparison idgaf who bring up !
I believe this “cleaned up” version of the song in this video is mine. I looped the choruses as best as I could, to clean up the available version from a Whoo Kid mixtape
I see why Columbia made change it, the lyrics are here are crazy but they would be hard for the average listener to keep with. Also the album version is a bit more focused subject wise.
