Upstate central NY loves Stewie "The Freeze Man" Friesen. Definitely should have won. Heck from dead last to 3rd... and without the last yellow, may have won it !
NASCAR trucks dirt really style... I like it, :) a unice form of racing, it's quite fun to see all the cars flopping about trying to drive smoothly on the track while trying to get ahead of one another, funny, cute uniquely cool :)
Need to change the format. They use qualifying heats yet only 3 green flag laps out of last 16. And it takes 8 laps to file em up? really? come on. when we ran street stock 100 lappers on the dirt, yellows counted until the last 15 to go. the Green, white checkered was raw... to bad last 15 werent.
21 second laps. So slow. No passing. Ty Dillon left front tire up . Big deal. He wasn't fast. He knows better. Ive seen 13 second laps around that track an slide jobs to pass that would make your eyes explode. No more NASCAR on dirt. It gives real dirt guys a bad image.
Brett Tanner You do realize sprintcars aren't the only dirt cars moron. There are plenty of slower dirt classes, and I'm sure the fans of them, and the drivers, wouldn't take too kindly to being called not real dirt guys. For what its worth, I love dirt track racing. I was born and raised on it and currently work as an referee at two tracks. I have no problem with NASCAR trucks running on dirt. Not every dirt car needs to do 13 second laps to be enjoyable.
Well Nathan for some of my background. I have ran every dirt track in Michigan and Northern Ohio for many many years in different classes. And grew up watching my Dad on dirt in my younger years. A single lane parade of cars running 21 secs laps on a 1/2 mile is not interesting too me. The Eldora street stocks were qualifying in the 19s and passing each other on a track thats 5 grooves wide. I grew up at Eldora in a Modified. NASCAR should lighten the rules up for this race put a dirt setup on these trucks and let them eat. Moron.
