Chastain definitely deserves the ride in the 42 car. My jaw was on the floor the entire finish of this race. Un freaking believable how he held off Denny for that long. Nascar at its peak right here

Ryan...Spire Motorsports is making solid strides to become a much better team for next season. The Next Gen car will be an equalizer for them to improve their equipment and directly compete with the bigger and better funded Cup teams... But yes, Ross Chastain is very talented and hungry to make a name for himself. It just sucked watching Denny Hamlin take him out of contention for this win...

I love how Chastain kept his cool, what with Hamlin playing chicken and trying to get him to ease up. That’s the kind of racing I love to see, and Chastain is the kind of driver we need in the Cup Series. I’m a Hamlin fan but I was screaming for Chastain to win. Dude better get a Cup ride in the next couple years.

Denny didn't have to send it in that much denny just had to do a small slide job but he sent his balls below the apron no grip, chastain was expecting to do a cross over on exit, but hamlin came up way to early

@@OwnedByBaba Hamlin didn't come up too early did you see how much he cleared himself? Chastain had a easy lane to move to with hamlin in the wall and biffed it. Hamlin definitely sent it but it wasn't a dumb send. Just didn't have the grip that he had only a few laps earlier. No one's fault it's just hard racing.

Such an awesome battle for the win. Reminds me of the 2022 coke 600 battle between Larson and Briscoe. I was there and called that briscoe would wreck them both like 2 laps before it happened because of what happened at Bristol a few weeks before and sure enough it happened. So cool to see in person haha. But in spirit this battle and crash is basically exactly the same as Joey logano fighting for the lead and both crashing, allowing Kyle Busch to slip by for the win. I think that was auto club and Denny Hamlin? But don’t quote me my memory is bad and I’m too lazy to look it up

Ross should have known Hamlin was going to hit the wall going in that fast. It was a classic 2008 Carl vs Jimmie situation and he should have been veteran enough to just let Hamlin hit the wall and drive right under him. Hamlin is definitely not the smartest driver and never has been especially regarding class, but Ross should have known better. Especially because it was Hamlin. Its Ross Chastains fault for expecting too much out of Hamlin and in not being smart enough to know a dive bomb move when he sees one and what to do when it happens. We all know Hamlin has zero class, Ross Chastain should have been smarter though.

Regardless of who we’re in the cars this was an awesome battle and a awesome race all around Denny raced as clean as he could and they both were going for it and it was all good hard awesome racing and what an incredible finish no hate to Denny he threw it in there hard and Chastain hit the wall couldn’t slow it down and ran into the back of him good racing don’t change xfinity series🤘🏻
