The reason behind that is because Naser's look is based on Iranian men of the 90s. Back then, having such thick mustache, that hat and a coat hanging from your shoulders was the common look for a tough man. Even the name Naser is a reference to an Iranian king of the 90s with the same name.

Only problem I can glean from this trailer is that there's not a lot of movement from the protagonist, I worry that in normal combat the enemies will just swarm over you. Writing and voice acting is great though, absolutely no snags there.
