The Blue Jackets have stunk since they came into the league in 2000. Attempts to surround their 24-year-old superstar, Rick Nash, with enough talent to make the playoffs have failed. In 2008 it's a new look for the Jackets, whether it will be enough is yet to be seen. One thing is for certain, at least they already have their goalie of the future: Pascal Leclaire.

Columbus Nash hit different. Wish him and Mason worked out there. Honestly I wish a lot of different versions of Columbus teams worked out there. If that 2019 team could've stayed together it would've been really special.

I remember when Grifflix talked about all the really fun pronunciations of CBJ players for around this point in time. That was a fun video essentially going through the Blue Jackets whole history. I miss that guy talking about hockey. Heck I miss him in general since he hasn't posted in nearly two years on his channel.

Thank you for taking a deep dive on the CBJ’s first decent season. The other years the team made it in were also great but it really seemed like with the young guys of Voracek, Brassard, Mason, and the constant threat of Rick Nash, it seemed like they were built to make more than just this one run.

I was so psyched when the Rangers got Rick Nash. I thought he'd put them over the top. He didn't. He got concussed early in the abbreviated 2012-13 season and was never a dominant player afterward.

I don’t think I’ve seen a video about a team that generally succeeded and said to myself: “Oooof I know where this is gonna end up.” Even as a Canes fan, I’ve always loved the Blue Jackets. Even more after the Wild Card Chaos Squad of 2019.
