Is this a serious comment? Or sarcasm? Because I was just commenting on how I can't listen to the guy because the music makes it impossible for me to process multiple auditory inputs at once. It's simply so overwhelming its painful, so I had to immediately stop the video.
It's called ASD level 1... it's not really focus problem...it's an issue that happens when multiple auditory inputs cannot be processed or when extra auditory input interferes with processing of another. My auditory language processing is like internet dial up from the 1990s. It's a brain wiring thing that praying isn't going to fix. My visual and kinesthetic learning is, however, more highly developed than most people. So the issue I'm having with these videos is the auditory sensory overload and a lot of talking. So I usually do better with more visuals and graphics...and slow, calm explanations without additional noises.
HI! love all your videos! They have been very helpful to study for the CPT. Just one question: NASM also has a section called Client's Choice to make the workout more fun for the client- Would this be considered a part of the cool down phase or would it be before cool down?
Great question! NASM includes the cool down as part of the OPT Model for the purpose of bringing the nervous system back to a less active state after ramping it up (Sympathetic -> Parasympathetic). Additionally, some clients find a cooldown to be pleasant and that could help create a positive association to exercise.
It really helps with filtering some of the toxins or byproducts created with ATP production out of the muscles. Its an easy way to ease the soreness from a good workout and maximize muscle growth@@Axiomfitnessacademy
