I've read this content many times and couldn't absorb the planes of motion concepts/examples to save my life. This video was awesome and now I will never forget! If I pass this test in a couple weeks it's going to be because of this man. 😂 THANK YOU!

Holy shit, where have you been my whole life!!! this is by far the best explanation of the concept ive ever heard!! You deserve a gold star my dude! p.s. i needed this 10 years ago. ACE teaches the concept in the most esoteric way possible.

Unfortunately things often get over complicated. No reason it has to be that way!

Wow, excellent explanations and & demonstrations, in this video and across your channel. Thank-you! Question: would you classify curtsy lunges as multi-planar? Or primarily in the frontal plane?
@Axiomfitnessacademy
@Axiomfitnessacademy 2 года назад
That's a tricky one, Virginia. There is a lot of frontal plane movement, but they do have a little movement is other planes. Truth is, many exercises have some movement in multiple planes. However, most questions pertain to where the majority of the action takes place.

Wow great content! Question, A Latt pulldown would be considered frontal plane correct?
@Axiomfitnessacademy
@Axiomfitnessacademy 2 года назад
Thanks for watching! Would be frontal plane dominant with a wider grip - the more narrow the grip the more it would work into the saggital plane, with a lot of variations being multiplanar based on how the shoulder and scapula move

If you’re adding in an additional transverse rotation to an exercise, wouldn’t you lower the weight at first?
