Actually, the Zelretch in fate is the same as the ones in all the alternate parallel universes. Considering he is a walking space stone, it's pretty easy to go where he wants.
Emiya Shirou not really(?) cause the Kaleidoscope allow the share of memories between alternate self. Of cause this doesn't mean Zelrech can't visit world he is already in.
Emiya Shirou It's been stated in the wiki that the Kaleidoscope allow the world being obseve by Zelrech to be that "real" world so Zelrech is very careful at what world he is observing
How about a singularity with Norikata Emiya as the main villain and Shirley as a conflicted servant level Dead Apostle who fights you for most of the story but joins you in the final battle to fight a Norikata.
I find it unlikely but it maybe possible? I mean we already had a FGO event that focused on Kiritsugu (and most of the people form Fate/Zero) so I honestly find it more likely that they'll do different events on different content where we could have other servants such as Tsukihime or Mahou Tsukai
True Ancestors are based on Crimson Moon Brunestud(aka: Type Moon). And so since the first vamps came from a Type(Horrible Eldritch aliens) that makes them Aliens to an extent, if only because their creation came from an otherworldly source.
@@rothern3761 I'd still think they're more "Earth native" compared to ORT, aka *Type Mercury.* _(seriously, whatta hell is that abomination doing on Earth?!)_
I guess if want to get into semantics, we could go so far as to call them a illness that was brought from space but adapted and changed as time went on
@@rothern3761 True. But given that Dead Apostles are an entirely new and different species compared to Types and True Ancestors _(the latter who are actually classified as fairies or Elementals),_ I'd still call them natives to Earth, even if their projenitors had outer origins. I honestly have no idea what the Church and the DAAs were thinking when they decided to classify ORT as one of the 27. The alien probably doesn't even know that's a thing! Sure, it killed the moron of a DAA that tried to fight it _(what was he/she thinking?!),_ but it is still not a Dead Apostle! It is too different to compare! I think the only similarity it has is an appetite for a creature's blood, but I'd still put it on the level of Types and True Ancestors before EVER considering it a Dead Apostle. _(specially since it will not die if it forgets to drink blood, it's literally just a hobby for it)_
Love that your talking about this cause it wasn't until recently that I learned that Tsukihime and Fate were so different. I thought because they were both part of the Nasuverse meant that their worlds were basically the same but man I couldn't be farther from the truth.
parker maisterra weird thing apparently in the extra timeline of fate the DAA are responsible for making everyone go digital. Making them vital to the extra verse
parker maisterra they are similar. The only real difference is prevalence of Dead Apostles. In Tsukihime, extremely powerful Dead Apostle Ancestors and their kin "deny" human history. In Fate, DAA did not exist or were eradicated (besided Zelretch, obvi) and DA are not common and weaker than their Tsukihime counterparts. This allowed human history to be "affirmed" by the presence of great heroes who eventually become the heroic spirits Fate is so famous for.
It really depends on how you look at it. With just a few sentences explaining the minor discrepancies, Fate and Tsukihime could totally coexist. That whole "deny human history" thing is bunk, meant to separate IPs. It's totally the same world if you want it to be.
Small correction -- while Dead Apostles' durability and reflexes come from their undead nature, their enhanced strength and speed are actually a result of training which any human can theoretically do. We see humans with similar abilities in the Nanaya clan of demon hunters. This is mentioned at one point in Tsuki, can't remember which route.
Fate/Strange Fake is a great gateway to Tsukihime as it takes place in an universe where elements of Fate and Tsukihime are combined. DAAs like Alcatraz and Nero Chaos make cameo appearances, and there is even a Dead Apostle as one of the Masters. It's also written by the author of Durarara! and Baccano!
Wait... Nrvnqsr Chaos makes a cameo?! 😖 WHEN?! Edit: Don't tell me it's after Chapter 13. Cause that is as far as the current translations have gone as of yet! D:
MrDibara no dont worry its not true _yet_ . there is a "dead apostle" that saladin, king richard, and "hassan" fight together, but it never confirmed is *him*, at least not _yet_ .(curse you narita and your "two strange/fake novels /year workload!! 😑)
@@masuahmadin7511 From what I know, Narita loves Tsukihime and desperately wanted to add elements from it to Fate/Strange Fake. Nasu finally relented and gave the okay, but I think Narita couldn't call DAAs by name. However, Nasu did tell Narita that Dead Apostles are resistant against Noble Phantasms since they are beings that reject human history. Interesting tidbit for the Nasuverse lore.
DA being very relevant in fate, especially in fate/strange fake which is a sequal to fsn, that forced Zeltrech and second DAA to intervene by sending the girl from fate/prototype to participate the fake holy grail war.
I bought Melty Blood like you recommended last video, damn that's a good fighting game. Also, Tsukihime is great, I don't think it's as good as Kara no Kyoukai and Fate Stay Night, but it's still great.
i wish after heaven's feel and the release of tsukihime rewrite we get to explore more of the nasuverse through tsukihime , i find tsukihime more interesting since they explore more of the nasuverse lore than fate does. fate rarely mention the clocktower and most characters in fate have connections with the clocktower .... i would like to see more of the alchemist's of atlasia or the maximum potential of shiki tohno . and the counter guardians i want to see the gaia's side of it. there's one dead apostle ancestor who isn't related to any vampires the beast of gaia ... is a counter force agent much like emiya but unlike emiya who's sole purpose is to safe guard humanity's safety the beast of gaia is the other side of the counter force in which it only protects the world. in some cases if the counter force gaia deemed that humanity is a threat it'll send the beast to kill humanity or at least kill most of humanity til it's threat level to the world is tolerable.
Marquis Scott a long work in progress which will take a while to see the light of day considering type moon is mainly focused on the fate trilogy adaptations and fgo
Marquis Scott He started about eight years ago. The Tsukihime remake probably won't be done for another thirty years with how much his attention has been divided with Fate.
Another awesome video! I would just like to point out one thing. The way you said makes it look like Fate and Tsukihime are two separate universes when it has been confirmed that Tsukihime, Fate and Mahou Tsukai no Yoru all take part in the same world and timeline.
Solid vid my dude i watch Otaku dai kun but still fuck with your Fate content just another take and flavor on the break down and digestion of the Nasuverse .
That'd be a short video. "There are five True Magics, although only one is practiced in totality today. The rest are either forgotten or badly copied. Here are the four we know of, and what kind of magic mimics them today."
Here's the 5 magics abridged. True Magic is declared when a Mage is succesfully able to reach the Root 1st Magic is the Denial of Nothingness which is like creation but not really 2nd Magic is Kaleidoscope which is the dominion over the parallel worlds - see multiverse theory - 3rd Magic is Heaven's Feel aka Grail Magic aka the power to materialize souls 4th Magic is currently lost and had not been explained 5th Magic is Blue which also has not been properly explained, but is implied to be time manipulation .
It's complicated yet simple and that's y I'm confused. I mean I get it but it one of those things that I'd have to watch twice to completely digest the information.
Really nice shift in topics in your videos. I really enjoyed that you started expanding on lore topics. My suggestion for the topic of your next video would be the fall of mystery aka why the Nasuverse fell from "magic" to mere "magecraft". Anyway, as usual, your content is on point. Keep up that work!
I thought Tsukihime and the Fate series shared the same universe, but as different stories, like how Spiderman & the X-men titles exist in the same continuity.
One of the things I want in my life is a real Nasuverse anime. Not fate. Not tsukihime. An original plot that involves the intimate inner workings of the collective lore. Also, it's worth mentioning in this video that the animes HAVE covered a slight difference in dead apostles and their ancestors - in Apocrypha, Vlad became Dracula, who was far stronger than a regular dead apostle. It was noted that only conceptual weapons such as Amakusa Shirou's black keys could harm him. They didn't outright call him an ancestor, but that is a trait we know to be fairly true to D.A.A. or even True Ancestors, not regular dead/ghouls/dead apostles.
I didn't assume you were talking about the anime. The anime and the game both follow the same timeline (even if they are 1000 years apart), that humanity is on the brink of extinction. It's not the primary timeline for any of the Nasuverse's original IPs. I'm asking for something that feels like Fate or Tsukihime, but focuses more on the overall world, not just a grail war or vampires - a healthy mix of what makes the Nasuverse the Nasuverse. While Fate/Extra may have helped expand the Nasuverse, it's still a secluded plot that feels radically different than what OG Fate/Tsuki fans are accustomed to. Hell, even Apocrypha feels more in line than Extra.
6:12 I never tought about this scene, but maybe she would have killed Kiritsugu if she still had bullets left. Maybe as mercenary decided on a whim that since the kid had no "bullets left at his time" she didnt need to kill him. I am not saying she was also hoping to not have to kill a kid wich was not turned yet, but maybe Kiritsugu escaped death just by that chance.
''I will kill. I will let live. I will harm and heal. None can escape me. None can escape my sight. Be crushed. I welcome those you have grown old and those who lost. Devote yourself to me. Learn from me. And obey me. Rest. I am light and relieve you of all your burdens. Ask for forgiveness here, and i the incarnation will swear. Kyrei eleison''
Thank you for clarification on this stuff, but this shows very well Fate's annoying and pretentious naming conventions. Why use terms like True Ancestor or Dead Aposle? How would anyone know what that means unless they read a short essay on the topic? Just use Vampires, Ghouls and Zombies, it would be a lot easier. This is just the beginning though and I am looking forward to more.
Nice info. I just assumed vampires are generally bad thats why they exterminated kiritsugu's island. i didnt know these rules and reasoning behind the event. On a side note; which is stronger?, dracula servant or real vampires/dead apostles/true ancestors in the nasu-verse?
Ordinary apostels would be outclass, some ancestors would be able to match him somewhat or outright beat him easily and True ancestors... well, Vlad will be stomp.
King Cobra Vlad would get his shit stomped in by the " real dracula" the vampire who his myth was named after was one of the 27 DAA. Vlad has no way of making him tangible enough to fight him.
But considering that town was on an island and the Mage's Association was practically burning the entire island to the ground in order exterminate the vampirical/ghoul outbreak, I pretty sure that she's dead
@@timkretschmer5780 also true ancestors turning humans is rare now as there only one left Arcueid and she ain’t turning anybody not named shiki There also other to bring dead apostles not just true ancestor bites and blood Like in fate when kiritsugu dad was experimenting on immortality bia stopping a persons time
Depends on the amount of mana used with EA. The reason EA underperforms expectations most of the time is Gil normally cannot give it more mana thus Excalabar matching its power and other examples. Gil could probably use his treasury to really up his mana supply but Gil's take nothing serious till to late trait normally stops that.
I thought Tsukihime and Fate took place in the same universe, and that Kara no Kyoukai was the one in a different one? Doesn't Fate/Stay Night contain references to characters from Tsukihime? I think in the Heaven's Feel true end, Shirou gets a new body or something from someone implied to be a person from Tsukihime. I think.
Aoko and Touko( the person from tsukihime you say) both exist in tsukihime and in Fate ( and in Kara no Kyokai)but the two are diferent universes that doesn't mean they don't share characters as they share the setting just that some things and events are different in tsukihime and Fate or mutually exclusive
They're all in different universes. Just that these universes are similar enough in most ways that it isn't really noticeable. For example, in Fate, Edmond Dantes destroyed Roa permanently during his life. In Tsukihime, this didn't happen, leading to Roa reincarnating in Elesia who became Ciel, before eventually reincarnating in Tohno SHIKI to start the events of Tsukihime.
Kara no Kyoukai and Fate definitely share universes as there is more than one crossover of characters and items between them. A KNK villain is shown on the island in the video above in Zero to show up later in KNK. Zero is not the same universe as the three Fate routes and all Three fate routes do occur in different universes but you can assume KNK exists in all or at least most Fate Universes. Multiverses are so much fun.
They aren't dead apostles, if they are vampires is because of the legend that is built around them, they weren''t "real" vampires in the Nasuverse sense but they are vampires in the legendary sense
Matevž Praper note that the term vampire is used very loosely i. Nasuverse. A "vampire" is any sentient being that sustains itself by consuming blood. Even an alirn planetary avatar got classified as a vampire
Wolf Man the ancestor have members like Primate Murder who can kill human faster than Angra, Zelrech who can use Kaleidoscope, ORT the ultimate one of Mercury, etc so at worst the planet might get blown up in these people fight god hand
Include type Moon and his daughter, and plus the true ancestors, god hand is definitely going to be in especially how when a type is basically godlike.
I would actually LOVE a series where either the Fuyuki protagonists (including Sakura and Illya) or the London protagonists (from the "Lord El-Melloi II Case Files" series) actually have to deal with a couple supernatural elements that eventually lead to dealing with Dead Apostles. And then, after misunderstandings happening one after another, they would have no choice but to team up with the Church to deal with the problem. I really wanna see more of the Executors! We've been putting Magi into such a high pedestal thanks to all the Fate material, but the Executors are fucking beasts! Never mind Ciel, have you seen the raw version of Fate/Strange Fake's third volume? Jester Carture, the Dead Apostle Master, absolutelly *rekts* an entire army of Magi armed with fake (but really powerful) Noble Phantasms. *And he makes it look easy.* Then, comes Hansa Cervantes, this War's supervisor, and he *completely flips the table on the damn vampire!* Seriously! I thought for a moment that Fate had turned into Hellsing! THAT SHIT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!
@@MrDibara yeah I hope they get into fate as to boost their appeal. Then after people see the greatness of not just servants as servants always take the spotlight. But morw of humans like shiroi who with hard work. Can achieve a class or power similar to or close to a servants capabilities. Like when shirou became archer he worked hard and gaines those skills with his own power. Or rin being so young yet such a high potential. She can fight caster and I think nasu said if rin was older and had more experience she could beat caster. Bring all the humans to fight. Shinji and sakura could run support like medic or evacuation. Emiya trains his blades while he has rins creasts to use more magic to fight. Lord el mellio can train rin and shioru. And better yet. Luvia can join up and tease rin with her love of shioru. This timeline works best in the ubw route as rin and shirou would be at clockwork and shioru is at his best and learning wirh the most potential. This would make a super amazing series and basically say. Hey servants aren't thr only cool ones. Humans are great as well with hard work. Heck. Take tmsome humans from apocrpha and strange fake as well. A war with humans and ghouls and apostles would shatter all records if made right. Thats why I live fate so much. The possibility of stories are endless as they don't stop. They continue and grow. Also add Carine and bazzet as well and ilya if you can. She can fight as well. And soichiro with his hand to hand combat. That would be a blow away series
@@MrDibara oh almost forgot. With it going in fgo show the fans who they are and love them. Same as Gilgamesh. Many sae him as a jerk. I loved him from day one. Now Gilagemsh is getting his own movie as he won everyone over after all his hars work. Make the apostles earn that love and then they get a series as well
This is really interesting to learn more about other stuff in the Fate universe that doesn’t just revolve around the Holy Grail War. It’s actually really cool I wonder what it would be like for a Dead Apostle to be in a grail war.
Fate Strange Fake has a dead apostle as a master. Even though Dead Apostle is still possible in Fate verse, something like Dead Apostle Ancestor is not
Shinmen Musashi They are. As they are people from the moon, they don't need blood to survive. They just gain an uncontrollable urge for it once they taste human blood. That's the whole reason Arcueid was "pure" before meeting Roa. Only after she sired him did she have to use up 70% of her power to restrain herself.
Shinmen Musashi Honestly, Roa is kind of a stalker. Both before and after he became a vampire, he was obsessed with Arc. Seeing his memories in the Ciel route was interesting to say the least.
Shinmen Musashi Pretty much. Also, I'm sorry if I accidentally spoiled anything for you. I really enjoyed Tsukihime, and I don't want to ruin anyone's experience.
