Thank you so much for this. I’ve always felt like I just don’t “get” my daughter with a Scorpio moon. She’s 18 now and I’m still scratching my head mostly. Her dad and I both have Capricorn moons. So many revelations in this video. Moved to tears actually ⭐️

Moon in Scorpio (MS) is difficult but it has some great attributes, such as being highly emotional, and therefore highly motivated and desirous. Desire is about the individual and it can be compulsive and/or obsessive, depending on whether the MS uses it for positive or negative things. If the MS can convert his desire to positive goals then this is a wonderful planet sign combination. The problems with MS are things like people being jealous of a motivated MS, and the fact the he stands out from the crowd. People are afraid of a very emotional and sexual person. Society as a whole frowns on overt sexuality. Another problem is that if the MS is not a socially powerful person, and has many problems in life, then people will take advantage of him, and enjoy bringing down such a individually powerful person. People love to squash egos and the overly ambitious person. It is true that the MS has a detriment in a mild way, and this is because Scorpio is a fixed sign. while the moon is ever transforming. The MS must learn to not be rigid by being an idealized version of his compulsions, but learn to control them in a positive way. You can imagine the disaster of an MS who has a difficult life. With love the MS learns the spiritual side of life, and forms a connection with the Moon archetype, and therefore society and the natural world.

I cannot thank you enough for this video. It is, without a doubt, probably the best video on this placement I've ever been fortunate enough to find. My moon is conjunct the North Node/Rahu in Scorpio by about 4 degrees, and it lends itself to VERY intense, isolating experiences, and this video has just given voice to things that I never even considered before, but have always struggled with. Will be tuning into the Moon/Venus series next, bc this was truly fantastic

It’s taken me 30 years but I’m finally starting to understand how to adapt my emotions in real time within relationships to see others needs. We tend to be too imposing or too passive, there’s hardly an in between. I still struggle adapting to my own needs unless I meditate but I don’t always give myself enough grace to do so. Having this in the 12th house adds to the complexity. It’s true I have adapted to feeling less than, even tho consciously Im always trying to change, emotionally I feel totally defeated sometimes. I crave being able to be vulnerable at times but I struggle finding the right people or outlets of expression. My mom is a Scorpio sun, cancer moon, but she’s doesn’t appreciate depth as much due to her house placements. I appreciate the contrast with the Taurus moon as my dad has that and it really helped me understand him more. He always is saying he don’t think about it. Meanwhile I’m here as a Gemini sun , Scorpio moon thinking about every possibility. My older sister is a Scorpio moon as well. She’s an Aquarius and she’s adapted better than me although it can be a lot to deal with her moods. I also have a twin sister with my same placements! I love how you explained it because even tho you didn’t mention addictions, I can see why Scorpio moons would gravitate toward that due to that disconnect of what they actually need. I could also see debilitated moons being on the Autism spectrum more than others, but I believe that has a lot to do with emotional and gut issues.

Wow Dustin, your psychological insight into human nature, is really profound, that I was thinking at one point, while watching this series that you must have scorpio placements somewhere, due to these indepth knowledge and insights, and yess i was right!!! Your sag Moon too is really downering. I'm double cancer, scorpio moon, in 3rd degree, square Neptune in aquarius, with venus in Tarus 23°, and Mars and pluto both in retrograde in Sagittarius in the 6th house, with plenty of pluto oppsite my gemini stellium, so I would say I have a strong scorponic energies. I watched the episode about scorpio and aquarius since my venus is in the 11th house, square Uranus, and gemini as well, since moon trine Jupiter in Gemini. And this episode is the most informative. I learned so much about my moon, from what you shared with us about the phases and the waxing moon, and the waxing moon, correlating with this self-sufficient, self-content nature of Scorpio that wants to be self-fulfilled makes so much sense. Your way of interpreting this archtype in term of polarity to the 7th house; namely tarus, and the 4th house as well, gives this placement a whole new holistic approach. Tarus are such good mundane recivers that I learn so much of their emotional abundance, and they have good commands of emotional intelligence because they work smart not hard, which for us is a downgrade, because everything for us is a battle that needs to be conquered or to have a value proposition of its own, and that what makes emotions, and being worthy of love, merly for who we are without any effort, is a challenging thing, and it really hits when you speaks of seeking consultations for that matter. You mention that we are attracted into simialr scorpionic energies, and i totally agree, and i would like to know your opinion about what you think of the connection between scorpion moon and Aries, or Capricorn moon? They are both Mars-ruled moons, and I find their willlfullness really appealing, but emotionally they are not really appealing.

The moon in Scorpio is considered detrimental in astrology, and us Scorpio moon people don’t get our need met in a rhythmic pattern as you described a Taurus moon. However, we do nonetheless, get our needs met. When we feel slighted watch out. Mars, Pluto on the moon oftentimes use emotional destruction and emotional power plays to get our needs met. We don’t feel that we should have to ask for more our needs to be met. It is our universal rite to have them met. If they are not…the stinger comes out.

I have a partner who has moon conjunct Saturn and pluto in Scorpio. His mother is an absolute nightmare and an abuser. His Scorpio moon conjunction conjuncts my Venus mercury and Uranus in Scorpio 🤪. I do have to say with my chart, implementing the virgo really stinks. I know you're a leo rising with scorpio sun--I a leo venus. do you have any reccomendations as to how I implement more of a personality, or how I should most healthfully be exemplified? for example, should I come off as shy, or a little more flamboyant? With Saturn squaring my 18• Scorpio moon all this year, I feel like this video may be the key to saving me from the next wave of depression that I expect to go though once Saturn goes direct again. I am a 22• Leo rising, 8• Taurus sun, 18• Scorpio moon conjunct 19• pluto. My 4th house cusp is 14• Scorpio. ( my moon also sextiles Neptune, Uranus and my north node) and widely trines my 14• cancer moon in the 12th. I do have a lot of debilitated planets like my Venus in Virgo and my Jupiter in Capricorn with a Sagittarius rising. But I wouldn’t say that it has effected my life in a bad way.
