You know before youtube and bored ass people making things on youtube you could reference linear and production notes in albums. That makes it really clear on whats sampled, vocals, and licensing. They were put there for this very reason. Trust me ashanti gets paid as a song writer and co producer. Hell jLo put her and irv in the video. Im not too deep in youtube but there are videos and interviews with ashanti and jlo separately on hot 97 talking about this.

I don't know what parts each did but I know it's easy to have a lot of writers even if the main things are done by a person or two. Check out some mainstream hits they usually have a lot of writers. It's grotesque to think that the voice I always associate with J Low hasn't even been her... it's been Ashanti/Christina/Natasha/etc. Padma Lakshmi played a role in the movie Glitter that was practically a biography of Jennifer where the "artist" is so vain and deluded that they actually believe they sound like they do on their records while never crediting the background singers and engineers for their studio magic.
