Sawadee khap my farangutan friends and puan puan khun Thai! Another retro video. I cannot say when this one was filmed. Christmas & New Year pre-covid...2019 perhaps? It features the Natee, The Riverfront Hotel in Kanchanaburi. You can't miss this hotel if you're down by the river. It's down from the railway bridge and all rooms face the River Kwai or Mae Nam Khwae Yai. The views are great and sunsets behind the mountains are awesome.
I really like this hotel and we've stayed several times. They have jacuzzies in the rooms and the snacks are included. It is a little more expensive than the surrounding accommodation, but I think for the views, restaurant and modern amenities, it's worth it as a treat. Hey, if you're loaded, it's not that bad price wise and for what you get for your dollar compared to accommodation in the West, it's good value. I'm sorry that I couldn't find any name for the night market on the other bank. If truth be told, I don't even know if it is still there as it was rather temporary looking, and we filmed this video some time ago. I couldn't find it on Google maps.
The PTT Gas Station on the AH123 heading out of town is quite an amazing place for a visit. It's free and has these gardens where you can walk or sit and have a drink or snack.
