when you take an English drinking song, and add a patriotic poem that just happens to fit, you get something better than the sum of its parts. if that's not the spirit of america I don't know what is
I was really proud of Spencer that evening. He did a great job, better than most you see at various big events. @Spencer thank you for honoring our country and not hacking up the anthem like a jobber.
I loved it because of how genuine it was. Here’s a guy who can’t sing, but he takes a swig of the dew, grabs the mic, jumps on the grenade and kills it. That takes some brass eagles right there. Nice job Spence
He actually is a pretty good singer. Didn't miss many notes. You would be able to tell better had the audio been higher quality though. 0:44 you can hear for a few seconds with headphones his real voice. Quite impressive.
For some reason I don’t recognize Spicy Spence but he flat out f-kin ripped it, one of the most American things I seen recently. I’m furloughed and my family is all safe and fed well but I had to purchase this last thing before I hunkered down and wait out the Coronapocalypse, I can say I was brought to tears thinking of all the bald eagles and the freedom that persists with our men and women in uniform and God bless America. Thank you to all that helped with the Freedom 500, I needed this so much right now and I will be a life long fan and contributer once I can buy merch again so thank you all so much. I wear my Cleetus gear every week even though I’m stuck at home most days all damn day while I workin my home and bald eagle machines. Thank you all so much, love you all, Hell Yeah, Dew it for Dale, we’ll freakin see you later!!!
This will forever live as the beginning of something legendary. Do you even realize what this will eventually turn in to?? The Freedom 500 could one day be the race where Nascar drivers come to watch Cleetus and the crew race.
Took ya long enough to get this magic moment of the pre lock down race that reminded us that it will indeed all still be there after the long night... Now Start your damn engines!!!
Thanks for making this happen Cleetus and to the whole FF Team! I've found you recently during quarantine and have enjoyed your content immensely. I know content creation is difficult and have been looking forward to your daily Month of Freedom drops everyday. Congratulations to Spicy on becoming a Floridian and I loved his energy during the FF 500. Can't wait to see what's next!
God Bless America! Spicy Spence with the Inaugural National Anthem. Belting it out of the Freedom Factory full of heart, soul, and Bald Eagles! Have to admit, I was impressed when it went down live, and I work with some of the best singers out there. Even with some audio glitches the feeling was genuinely real.
I have a bachelor's and master's degree in music performance and I was seriously impressed by this performance. The National Anthem is not an easy song to sing and Spicy Spence did a phenomenal job. He should be proud.
I've got a bit of American blood in these Canadian veins and I was emotional listening to this great rendition of the American National Anthem! It truly released some bald eagles right there! Well done Spicy Spence!
on September 30, 2001(just weeks after the 9/11 terrorist attacks) I was at the United States Grand Prix Formula One race in Indianapolis Indiana, this was a major international event, and people did not know what to think or feel ... then they performed the National Anthem and the jets ripped over head and everyone(from all nations) let out a cheer, and knew everything was going to be alright.....I haven't felt that way since, until the Freedom 500, and in these trying global times, when no one knew if this race could be pulled off(even forced to run a day early) when Spence sang so well, I knew everything was going to be alright again thank you all for making this event happen, it gave me faith, at a time when I most needed it
A MOST WELCOME FIRST NATIONAL ANTHEM FROM THE VERY FIRST FREEDOM 500 God Bless Cleetus McFARLAND ETAL God Bless The One & Only FREEDOM FACTORY God Bless America
Spicy Spence made the entire broadcast and hopefully will be hosting all future events. Better book him now before it’s too late! #careerchangingopportunity Thanks again you guys killed it!
Spicy Spence did a hella of a job that night killed it with everything 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🔰... he did it for everyone that night... keep up the good work Spence
Wonderful! All I could think was I can't wait to hear this again when the factory is full of screaming fans to give it the applause it deserves. Well done fellas and well done Spence!
Bro cleetus spicy Spence freaking killed it on the national anthem and absolutely loved the race thanks for keeping us all sain in these crappy times man you guys seriously stay safe we need you guys around for so much more
That pace car doing a burnout after it had ended would have been perfect, much like the iconic scene of jets flying over the track at Nascar events. It's part of the event that makes me absolutely excited for everything else you guys have planned. I can't wait until you guys become local economy boosters hosting actual events. I can't wait to see how this all goes down. Maybe one day I'll drive down from New York to see an event in the future. Watching the 500 with my dad got him really in the mood to find an old Crown Vic (I would like to see either an Explorer or Taurus since they are much easier to find around me) and pretty much make it a jank racecar.
Picture this. I’m making dinner and from the living room i hear the spice master start singing the national anthem. I dropped everything i was doing, burned dinner a little bit but i ran into the living room, placed my hand over my heart, and paid respect to America in my living room. Wish i could’ve been with my buddies watching this but we made due. Praise dale and raise hell!
