Holy crap You just brought back some memories for me haha. I freaking loved those things as a kid. Climbing up the most sketchy trees and on rooftops just to throw em down was so fun!
It just shows; work your ass off and care about what you do, real recognizes real. Every time I have made a comment about being happy that George isn’t stuck in a closet porting heads for little thanks people have jumped down my throat. Glad someone else is happy for him also. Genuine dude that brings a lot of character to the team.
@@User-sz2bg whose Jeremy? Georges former employer? Who did George work for before? I'm actually curious now. And yeah, I love George lmao I'm glad he's with Cleet because he's a great guy whose laugh is beyond infectious.
It's from a hobby store and it's called an EC 1500. He said it's "like an AC130, but missing a couple engines" he knows its not one, but for ease of comparison is saying that. Not that hard to grasp
Cleetus I have been watching your channel from before Neighbor and I have never missed a video or not have hit the Like button. You have made me laugh scream in support when you Raced and cheered for you when you won and was Disappointed when things just did not come together but knew you would find a way to overcome the situation and wanted to not miss it when you did. I have never heard you say something bad about anyone and your positive competitive personality is something everyone should strive to achieve. I would like to make this comment to say Thank You for The Hours of Enjoyment you have provided for myself and Millions of people who watch your RU-vid Videos Garrett. HELL YEAH BROTHER!!
I have to say Cleet, I've been in a rough spot the last few days. Just not able to get out of it. Then you drop a video, and it's the first time I've been cheered up and feel ready to attack the day man. I really appreciate you brother!
Here's a little tip for George (or anyone learning to fly) from an RC flight instructor (for over 30 years), that helped me immensely when I started flying: When flying towards yourself and "left is right, right is left", stop thinking in right vs left. Instead, when you need to level the wing, move the aileron stick UNDER THE LOW WING, as if to prop that low wing tip back up. At least for me, once I committed to the mindset, it no longer made any difference to me whether the plane was coming or going. Now, losing track of orientation, and not knowing if you are coming or going, is another matter. I always suggest assume it's coming, move the stick a little under one wing, and if the wing drops, it's going AWAY.
Or try to slightly turn yourself in the same direction the model is heading and imagine yourself inside it. Ya'll have ZERO excuses these days with PC rc simulators and wifi transmitter training available ha ha!! :)
@@Mgp-Rc Yes, that is the method you will always see new pilots trying to use. It does not work as well as one would think, and is definitely not a viable long-term approach to train yourself to rely on. You are spot-on with the simulators. They are incredibly realistic, and give you the eye-to-brain-to-thumbs training you need for developing correct muscle memory. We have had young students who learned first on a PC solo their plane on the first trip to the field (after check flights tethered to an instructor, of course).
I've been there, done that, George! When I first started flying RC planes, I often found it hard to tell the direction/orientation of the plane. One tip I was told was that when the plane is headed toward you and tilted, push the aileron stick towards the low wing. If you really want to up your skills flying RC planes, get yourself an RC simulator program that has an actual RC transmitter. That alone increased my flying skills immensely! First time out with the real RC plane afterward, I was knife edging, doing snap rolls, inverted low fly-bys, etc... The RC simulator paid for itself in not having to do plane repairs.
This was SOOOO Awesome! Thank You for posting this extra footage. Dave is the ultimate Friend. Both He and Garrett are like me where you have the best time watching others have a good time. It’s a crazy personality trait but it causes a lot of hurt too when people take advantage or are just disrespectful. 😎🤟🏻😎🤟🏻
Cleetus needs to get a cabin in the mountains and do more winter activities. I love this content being mixed in to the channel and seeing y’all rip the bikes was awesome!
I wanted to get my pilots license so bad when I was in my late 20s perfect vision, thought I was in great shape, turned out I have a hereditary heart condition that causes pretty high blood pressure and tachycardia. Never knew, never felt bad or anything else but thank god for that physical to discover the issues! Can’t ever fly but at least I get to have a longer life now! Happy to see cleet and Dave getting their licenses and living the dream! Thanks for all the aviation content boys!!
What an AMAZING life you lead and wonderful opportunities you have to be able to share with those around you. And thank you for sharing with all of us. I too have a passion for rotary flight but I spend most of my time in simulators, drones, and games. Fantastic to see what is possible with the resources. Again, Thank you for sharing. Hell Yeah Brother!
Im surprised Cleet hasn't done any FPV rc flying. Definitely should give it a try especially now that you've had a taste of VR/AR from the Leroy concept body.
I love you guys! I vicariously live through you. Thank you so much for sharing you're amazing life. Hard work pays off! God bless you guys I I mean that I love you!
something tells me that in racing video games, George has always played with the out of the car view as opposed to the looking out the windshield view! 🦅🇺🇸🦒 ✌️🐝➕
George here the trick some folks use when flying toward yourself "push the stick toward the low wing until it's level". Eventually you won't have to think about it, but that's the bridge to getting to that point.
George, When I was learning to fly. The old man teaching me said get the plane up and level it out to a comfortable altitude. Pull back on the power and just cruise. Always give yourself time to think when you're new. Do not start doing crazy tricks. Get used to flying and controlling the plane at level flight and just practice doing clean level turns in a race track oval pattern. You want to get acclimated to seeing it respond to your commands. Eye and hand coordination is crucial. Get very comfortable with it. You want to learn how to fly clean. Nose up in your turns. Slowly. Only using ailerons.. no rudder yet. Nose up and turn.. your trying to do way to much before you can think about what the plane is doing, and how to correct it. It can get a little boring but you'll be a damn good pilot for training this way. Then line up with slow passes over the runway and practice keeping it straight and level and slow right down the center line. When you can do that then landing is a cinch. Just pull the power off and hold it straight. It will gradually fall and land by itself. Just give yourself a long approach and keep her on the centerline. A landing is just a controlled crash 😅😅 Just warm up slowly. Then when you naturally correct any problems without panic . Then crank it up a few notches. But remember! Throttle goes both ways so if it gets ahead of your thinking, then slow it down a while.. I promise you'll never have to hit the recovery button again when you learn this way.
It’s amazing………. I’ve been flying since the early 90’s and crashes still happen starting with the turning loop when you hand the controls to the novice!
