Ireland Call never has and never will be the bhe national anthem of Iteland, It was created to appease loyalist and unionists rugby players from Morthern Ireland. The REAL national anthrmmis A Soldiers song. There are a lot if English and sad to say some Itish schoolchildren who don't realise this
@@seanbrown453 I agree with you completely and I am afraid we are going to be sold out on this. I can see it being pushed forward and for what, the others will never accept Ireland's' Call either.
Or at least the unionists and loyalists. I'm a protestant from Sweden but I'm an Irish Republican and stands up for human rights against oppression. For me Amhrán na bhFiann is the true national anthem.
@@drigerdranzer7514 yes if Iteland unites then a new national anthem will be needed but it will never be God save tge Kin or any English song. The Itish must be united and a gree nation and if the Unionists and loyalist don't like tgey can go back to Scotla d and England and give us back the la d they stole from the Irish. The British Wmpite stole every la d it ever saw but they got kicked out of USA SOYHRTN Ireland and looks like common wealth ate going ewbuliv
I agree with you Sean Brown. A soldier's Song is Ireland's national Anthem and I hope they are not trying to change it to the one on here. It's a lovely song but not our national anthem. Amhrán na bhFiann tells of our history, how dare anyone suggest we change. Ireland's call is only meant to be sung at rugby matches where the all Ireland team is comprised of players from all over Ireland that includes the north, so as not to hurt feelings a new SONG was written and that's all it is , not our Anthem. Sin E.
Seriously... La Marseillaise, one of the most, if not the most recognized anthem in the world... Whe I hear, I want to run and stand on the barricades!
@@toringepedersen9614yeah the guys just a racist probably, by the way this isn't the Irish anthem it's a a made up one so the British colonists in the North don't cry
patriot I'm from the north and won't/can't stand for God Save the King/Queen. Now, they're slowly taking our identity further away from us with this "inclusive" muck. It should be Amran na bhFiann or Four Green Fields.
If Ireland and Scotland won more gold medals in the Olympics, I’d get it. I never heard either one of these national anthem before.. but good on them, very sweet.
Neither of these anthems would be played at the Olympics. This is not Ireland's national anthem and Scotland perform at the Olympics as team Great Britain. Team Great Britain uses God Save the Queen(King)
If you haven't heard "Flower of Scotland" before, you obviously don't follow much sport. It's played at EVERY Scotland football and rugby match, and every time a Scot wins at any sporting competition where Scotland is represented, such as the Commonwealth games. For years, commentators around the world have marvelled at the passion of the Scotland fans when the National Anthem is played, often carrying on singing after the music stops after the first verse.
