Great to see Cleveland Park again brings back loads of memories. Still can't get used to the starting gate being that side of the track though 😁. Great interview with Mad Dog
The rider said it was a grippy track, but the riders stayed on their seats almost the whole way round the corners. They said it was a small track. It was still larger than all the US tracks I rode except for Ascot. Now there was a grippy track. The surface was adobe. More traction than asphalt except when wet. Then it was more slippery than ice. It was brutal on bike and body. Cheers, Bill#187
