National Microcar Rally 2022 

Yay another lovely video I wish I had known it was on I could have brought "Bitsy" My lomax. I love the parking, and I would have been buying loads of chrome parts from that stall. Maximum respect to the people who turned up with a small tent packed in Their microcar. I bet You woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs and the whole campsite smelling of 2 stroke oil! We loaded all our camping gear on "Bitsy" and went camping in the new forest, and did our annual pilgrimage to Beaulieu. All went well apart from getting mugged.....by a Donkey!!! ; - )

Thanks for this video. I had a very enjoyable day at the National Microcar Rally in Somerset in 2019. Ripon is too long a drive from Cornwall! I've never seen or heard of a Mumford Musketeer before.

These are the sort of cars we should be building today, not those ever-bigger & even heavier beasts that seems to be the modern way, hardly sustainable or environmentally friendly. Great to see such an interesting collection of cars, thanks for sharing.

Very interesting, thanks..! Thay Messerschmitt actually seems quite smooth at speed on the motorway, the engine seems quieter and the corn popper sound seems to go away at speed...? Interesting vis a vis where to draw the line for the definition of "microcar"... Seems that Fiat 500's and vw things sneaked into the rally...
