Servite doesn't take senior transfers and are strict about it because their coach believes in talking to the kid and his family and developing him as a man and player for all four years. So some 4 star senior transfer just can't come in and take a spot from a kid who has been at Servite all his years. It's a loyalty to the player the coaches believe in. Fun fact
@@allensaunders449 Yeah I don't know why but I think people read the polls and always see IMG and Mater Dei as both ranked 1 and 2 interchangeably every year so out of state people have this association bias where they assume Mater Dei can only be that good because they are just another sports academies like IMG. Like people said before, MD can only raid Socal talent, not players around the world. They have coaching staff that have played in the NFL so they have good coaching
And they still get kids( transfers) from all over the place especially the greater LA area... your public schools cant compete. Now before I say anything about South Florida you will probably rebuttle that Saint John Destroyed Miami central... You gotta understand Northwestern and Miami Its
@@damellman well said, aside from 4 schools in California, I can't mention any other high school that has been great. Imagine if all the talent from South Florida went to only 3 high schools 😯
@@ahucatitlan De La Salle was the standard of High School football for over 2 decades. Long Beach Polly has been a power hosue. Skyline football in Oakland was very strong. If you've watched Last Chance U or have any semblance of an understanding about housing and gentirfication it deosn't take a genius to see what's happened to CA high school football. All of the kids that should be playing in CA have moved to Dallas, Tacoma, & Vegas. How do you think Bishop Gorman got so good?
California is a massive state and these teams recruit players so no I am not surprised at all. These schools are so good for two reasons they have a ton talent to choose from and can practice there sport all year round. Warm weather states have an advantage over cold weather states.
I think Servite is back. TT is a coach kids want to play for. They should be able to cut into SJB and MD's pipelines for talent ad long as he's the HC.
@@princetigerbeatz9316 but they nowhere near as good as no one in the trinity league I don’t even think they better then banning or San Pedro they play weak teams
Man shout out to them #serviteboys I watch y’all against both MD and Boscoe and y’all stood tall in defeat and honestly CALI is king right now for the MOST LIT 🔥 programs #respectfrom808 #themPOLYgeneticstho 🧬 🧬🧬😎💯🤙🏽
I remember the very first game i had with pads was against servite as a freshman. The very first play, a middle linebacker came in and rocked my shit XD.
I was so glad to see Chris Rix on the live stream after I finally got it going. Can't believe what a B grade outfit this Bally's is. I'll take him over those clowns on TV anyday.
SJB vs Cent10 and MD vs Servite for the semi, if all 4 don’t get upsets but all these teams are amazing going to be a super fun playoffs, bosco QB got hurt so we’ll c how they do
Have like half my family going to Cali cause their parents got better jobs n they’re transferring into Bosco n Mater Dei n hopefully they play up there The shortest dude that’s going up is 6’5 270 can bench 480 n squat 545 runs really good I think it’s a sub 5.1 or 5.0
Said this last week, you don't just go to war with the number 1 team in the nation then on six days you play against the number 3 team (number 2 imo, IMG got exposed again) without coming out flat and sluggish especially high school kids. Bosco has had 3 bye weeks since that MD game, their starters were pulled early and were fresh ready to go. Also, Bosco's 3 out of state opponents they blew out (Oscar Smith, ESL, MC) are all projected to win their State Championship so they are legit.
Mc speaking here. MC has to beat American Heritage... the difference between cali ball and Florida. ... There are restrictions of public schools playing private schools... All it is is a classification of population of the school and good hard nose football..
@@marcvslicinivscrassvs7536 What I was trying to say Was. There are no restrictions.... Florida only goes by classifications By the numbers in your school.. Private and public schools will play each other no matter what.. Sorry for the confusion
@@damellman OH no worries my friend. It's basically the same in Cali except a lot of smaller private schools will petition up to play in higher divisions because of the competitive inequity.
Yea facts 88 needs a big game it’s the only way, but most play both ways so they get tired but they got to be ready for it but it’s tough playing MD then bosco back to back
@@luis.ramirez-diarte8654 that's why I don't think servite can beat either of these teams, both MD and Bosco are too talented to be tired and banged at all and it's inevitable when you are playing both ways, especially this late in the season
Servite just needs to start developing running backs... When they develop some home run hitters in the backfield, they can sustain more drives... Otherwise they become too one dimensional, which makes it hard for T Macc to go off because Mater Dei and Bosco are keying on him because Servite can't run the ball effectively... The difference in this game was Bosco's run game, which opened up they're play action.
Did #4 even have a catch this game for Servite? He did really well against MD. Bosco must've been playing zone back there and MD was playing Man. They did a great job and holding Servite. Im still picking Servite to upset them in the playoffs.
So California's the elite state of football because they have one league that dominates everybody?.... 2 schools out of the league beats everyone... Sorry there is not much competition in California... thise kids and coaches dont know how to compete....
@@damellman What??? That wins the dumbest comment of the day. Three teams were in the top 10 not to mention other powerhouses like Centennial, LBP, DLS, MV, LA etc. Cali ball the best ball. Every where else is playing for second.
@@jaymedina76 Yeah you probably don't understand football... Name me 5 dominant high schools at a California outside of the Trinity l Don't worry I'll wait...
Are districts in the public school system limited to where it’s hard to transfer? I mean Centennial for example, they don’t just breed D1 prospects in that town alone…
I can’t believe im saying this but servite needs more weapons. The QB is great but a lot of passes was in hella coverage or was laying the WR out to dry. They’re not all big like #4 & #88
It's crazy because Saint Thomas . Took care of Saint Francis's And John Basco.... The craziest part is Miami central and Saint Thomas is closer than Bosco And meter dri. .
Servite is gonna be tough out in the playoffs Bosco and. Md are both great Centennial From nor cal cant front so cal a problem We got de la salle st francis serra rocklin but they not on. The big 4 in so cal And folks say they private schools Public schools beat private all the time Md servite bosco de la salle Are way more than private schools they great coached teams with alot of talent California we born to play football and we the best at it
Bosco D line is pretty good too. #56 was doubled all night and still made close to double digit tackles. #55 on Servite was disruptive all night. He was closing lanes quick. Both D lines did great.
Servite just doesn't have the talent on O-line and D-line to match MD and Bosco. If they had a couple more big nasty's on both sides of the ball, they'd probably be the best team in Cali.
Somebody told me Servite was a National Powerhouse , and I told them until they beat the top dogs.. they just the 3rd best team in Cali lmao. Looks like I was right.
@Goatbe Bryant Can’t be a national powerhouse being 3rd best in the state lmao. They don’t even schedule nobody outside the state to even back that claim lmao. You must not know what NATIONAL means.
@Goatbe Bryant Nationally ranked is cool. But you’re beating the teams you’re supposed to beat and losing when it’s important. Who are you comparing them to? MD? They running the table rn. IMG? Boscoe? You know what they all have in common, and they’ve been doing it for years.. scheduling good teams around the nation, and beating them. That’s what makes them a National powerhouse. MD and Boscoes loses are only to eachother each season. Servite loses to those guys. You can’t say a team who only plays Cali teams, and then loses to the best Cali teams are NATIONAL POWERHOUSES. They have nothing to stand on that. Literally nothing lmao. When’s the last state championship Servite won? Last time they won Trinity league? The “national championship” ? You saying they a powerhouse because they beat everybody but the 2 best teams?
@@ifinnesswins2450 you don’t play football I can see playing the number 1 team in the nation on a Saturday and only having Sunday to rest then Monday - Thursday to try and gameplan for arguably the #3 team in the nation is a big load yes they looked gassed tired beat up slow
@@Unisouthcentral that's not a excuse my guy lol that's 5 days. And yes i played football and we won 2 back to back state championships and had to go against 2 of the best teams in my state back to back with a 5 day rest just like them lol. trust me they had a game plan for them 100% way before the other games simply because they 100% knew they was gonna beat the teams before MD. they not Finna plan games for unranked teams i promise they spent like 2 days for those other unranked teams at most.
@@ifinnesswins2450 how many people were playing both ways servite got about 7 do yo research even the announcer said against mater dei that usually the weak after all the starters sit out the next week that’s putting a lot on your body to do that even nfl announcers say it after a Sunday game and they gotta play Thursday night they always say I wonder how they are gonna play on such a short week
Never seen so many black Catholics as in Cali. I mean come on now.All this flexing on every play gets old.Could be behind 2 touchdown and gets tackle for 5 yards kid jumps up talking and flexing.
