I love this! I get to share my wife and culture with a woman that I no longer think about as white. We have to remember that we’re a mix marriage or bi-racial couple or however it is described these days. We are just people. Anishinaabe means the people. We are the people. All of us!
I grew up going to pow wows and when I heard this I almost fell over laughing. What a great sense of humor. I can only imagine this being sung at one of the pow wows I went to. Too great!
Well physically I'm 3/4 white. My mama & grt grandma was full blooded Cherokee Indian. I've always spiritually r/t to the Cherokee nation ppl. When I'm tanned mama said I looked just like her. My ❤️ only identifies with the Indian nation esp with all the visions & dreams I have. They are my ppl regardless of my skin color.
Physically I'm super white passing, genetically I'm 87% Native, mostly Cherokee woth some Sioux and Blackfoot. The culture is amazing, and we love to share!

Love this so much! Also loving the increased amount of indigenous singers and actors that are not having to dull thier sparkling! I have a cousin that is starting a punk style band that are all rez raised natives and i am hopeful that they will find a good sound and get up there!
Miss hearing this sound of their culture sooo much! Americans need more of Native American culture and philosophy in their lives. Probably the saving grace for the whole country.

EVERYONE IS ORIGINAL. You need to resist rewriting history to suit your narrative because it is wrong. Not many places in the world have a written history thousands of years old. Interpretations of written symbols is conjecture and subject to modern influence, which has been largely FUNDED.

And only one race of brown skinned native Americans living on the entire American continent. The Spanish invaded our land and raped our women but that’s was not our fault. @@flexflash7890 No. Most Colombians don't have black ancestors (only around 20% of the population. And surely not from Madagascar, but from west/central Africa (mostly from regions former called: Guinea, Congo and Angola). Black population settled on the coasts of Colombia, that is why not everyone is of african descent. You hardly found any Afrocolombian in inner Colombia 30 years ago, but people started migrating because of war and in search of better opportunities. Also Afrovenezuelians migrated to inner Colombia in the last decade. So most Colombians are of spanish/indigenous admixture in various proportions and only around 20% are of African descent (also with different amount of admixtures). Chances are that around 1% african descent is shown in people from inner Colombia, those could be false readings of the tests or it is bc some Spaniards were possibly already admixed.

Had to listen twice, was enjoying the drumming (got those indigenous relaxation CDs). When I listened properly I shocked the cat with my outburst of laughing. Dignified tradition maybe, sense of humour sharp and on the money definitely. Thanks guys.
Oooo always gives me goosebumps when i here Aboriginal music. The ones sung in their native tongue always gets me emotional, even if its a happy song... just hear the emotion in their voices ❤
